För mer än 35 år sedan, när jag var barn, hade jag alltid beundrat en taklampa som hängde ovanför bordet hemma hos mina morföräldrar. De hade inte mycket fina saker i huset, men ljuset drog alltid till sig min uppmärksamhet. Mycket senare, när min mormor flyttade in på ett äldreboende, fördelades sakerna i huset bland familjemedlemmarna.

Lampan gick till mig och blev sedan mittpunkten i mitt studentrum. Senare utökade jag det med ett bord, en stol, en soffa och sånt i 50-talsstil, men det är fortfarande lamporna själva som min uppmärksamhet går till. Jag hade vid den tiden ett hörn i mitt hus under trappan, dekorerat med dem, för att hänga mer än 20 lampor i olika höjder, vilket ger en vacker konstnärlig och dekorativ effekt precis som folk placerar växter, konst eller andra dekorativa element i huset. En lampa kan användas inte bara för funktionell belysning utan också som ett dekorationsobjekt i sig. Väl vald, den bestämmer atmosfären. 20 år senare blev samlingen för stor och jag måste erkänna att jag borde göra mig av med några lampor så att en annan kan njuta av dem.

Varje lampa har därför varit av mig själv och där det behövts har jag bytt ut sladdar och beslag, rengjort glaset och polerat plast och metall. Tänk på att de flesta lampor är 30 till 50 år gamla, så förvänta dig inte nya lampor utan de bästa du kan få från den tiden.
Jag nämnde att man alltid ska vara ärlig om saker som när en lampa är i sämre skick och att man ska ta hänsyn till det i priset.

Priserna jag använder är priser under marknadsvärdet, för mig är det en seriös hobby som jag vill dela med andra och inte ett jobb som försörjer mig. Om du ser lampor i samma skick till ett lägre pris någon annanstans, vänligen meddela mig så att vi kan justera priset.

Before, more than 35 years ago, when I was a child, I had always admired a pendant that hung above the table at home with my grandparents. They did not have much nice stuff in the house but the light was always attract my attention. Much later, when my grandmother moved into a retirement home, the stuff in the house were distributed among the family members.

The lamp went to me and then became the center of my student room. Later I expanded it with a mid century design table, chair, couch and stuff but lamps themselves are still where my attention goes to. I had at that time a corner from my house under the stairs decorated by them to hang more than 20 lamps at different heights, which gives a beautiful artistic and decorative effect just as people puts plants, art or other decorative elements in the house. A lamp can be used not only for functional light but also a decoration object in itself. Well chosen it determines the atmosphere. 20 years later, the collection became too big and I must confess that I should do away some lamps so another one can enjoy them.

Each lamp has therefore been of myself and where necessary I replaced the wires and fittings, cleaned the glass and polished the plastics and metals. Mind that, most lamps are 30 to 50 years old so do not expect new lamps but the best you can get from that time.
I mentioned always honest about something like when a lamp is in lesser condition and reflect that into the price.

The prices that I use are the prices below the market value, for me it is a serious hobby that I want to share with others and not a job that provides me my livelihood. If you see the same condition lamps for less elsewhere, please note me so we can adjust the price.
