Hello beautiful soul! I'm Jessica of Moon Magic Gems🌙💎✨. I create handmade gemstone jewelry, crystal wreaths, and smudge bundles with passion and lots of love. My fascination with crystals and nature started as a child. I would spend all of my days outside exploring and admiring the beautiful scenery. I took every art class available in high school (jewelry being my favorite class of course) and graduated college with a Bachelors in Psychology. After having my two beautiful babies I struggled with the idea that I had nothing to show for the work that I did, since being a stay at home mom is a demanding and thankless job. After one of my best friends told me about some gemstone bracelets she got on a trip she took, I was reminded of my love for jewelry and crystals. I got up, dusted off my crystal and fossil collection that had been hiding away on a shelf after my kids were born, and I went out for some soul searching (and a few jewelry materials at the local craft store). As soon as I finished the first bracelet I felt complete. Like some piece of my life had been missing, and I was left wondering why I hadn't thought of this sooner. Creating became my way to relax after an exhausting day alone with my now 3 children. I felt like I could do something to give me purpose, and spread love and healing to others. The kind words of my friends and family, as well as the overwhelming joy I feel when creating, is what motivates me to push myself to succeed. Discovering the healing properties of gemstones and herbs has become fascinating to me, each stone and herb has its own specific purpose in healing the mind and body. My ultimate goal is to make creations that are beautiful but also healing, to bring beauty and wellbeing to everyone ♥️
