🎄 Vakantie- en kerstafsnijdsels — Prints en niet-aangepaste artikelen
Om de kans te vergroten dat uw bestelling voor Kerstmis aankomt, raden wij u aan om uw bestelling vóór mijn jaarlijkse sluitingsdatum te plaatsen.
Bestellingen uit het VK: 20 december
Internationale bestellingen: Meestal 3–5 werkdagen, zoals aangegeven op de officiële website van Royal Mail,
Kerstpost kan echter onvoorspelbaar zijn, dus het is altijd verstandig om wat extra tijd te nemen.

Bestellingen die na deze datum worden geplaatst, worden nog steeds snel verzonden, maar levering vóór Kerstmis kan niet worden gegarandeerd.
De verzendtijden variëren per land. Zodra het pakket is verzonden, heb ik geen controle meer over de snelheid waarmee het wordt bezorgd.

🎨 Commissies tijdens de feestdagen
Wij kunnen geen garantie bieden op op maat gemaakte, met de hand geschilderde kunstwerken, ook niet met Kerstmis, op welk moment van het jaar dan ook.
Elk werk wordt langzaam en zorgvuldig gemaakt met behulp van traditionele methoden, waardoor opdrachten hun eigen natuurlijke tijdlijn volgen.

Let op:
• Commissieschema's kunnen niet worden gekoppeld aan Kerstmis, verjaardagen, bruiloften of een andere specifieke datum.
• Ik bied geen ‘spoed’- of ‘spoed’-opdrachten aan, omdat dit gezien de aard van het creatieve proces niet realistisch is.
• Een opdracht is een op maat gemaakt kunstwerk en kan niet worden overhaast om aan een op een datum gebaseerde service te voldoen.

Als u een opdracht cadeau wilt doen, kunt u het beste enkele maanden van tevoren bestellen. U kunt dan pas van het kunstwerk genieten als het prachtig is afgewerkt.

Alle prints en niet-aangepaste stukken worden zorgvuldig verpakt en binnen 1-3 werkdagen verzonden.

🎨 Handgeschilderde opdrachten

Elke opdracht is een uniek kunstwerk, volledig met de hand geschilderd in mijn kenmerkende aquarelstijl.
Omdat elk stuk met aandacht, detail en vakmanschap wordt gemaakt, vergt het proces zowel tijd als focus.

Gemiddelde productietijd: ongeveer 4 weken voor A4-formaat stukken.
Dit weerspiegelt de zorg en traditionele technieken die nodig zijn om een stuk te maken dat gekoesterd moet worden.

Let op:

●De verwerkingstijden kunnen variëren afhankelijk van de complexiteit van de compositie

●Ik werk opdrachten af in de volgorde waarin ze zijn geboekt

●Tijdlijnen kunnen niet worden overhaast of ingekort

●Dit is een handgemaakte, ambachtelijke service - geen massaproduct

De kwaliteit van het eindresultaat staat voor mij voorop. Dat vereist geduld en respect voor het creatieve proces.

⏰ Voor cadeaus, verjaardagen en speciale gelegenheden

Ik begrijp volledig hoe betekenisvol het is om een gepersonaliseerd kunstwerk cadeau te doen.
Omdat het werk op maat is en er internationale verzendopties gelden, kan ik echter geen leveringsgaranties voor een specifieke datum of gebeurtenis afgeven.

Voor de beste kans om een opdracht op tijd voor een speciale gelegenheid te ontvangen, raad ik u ten zeerste aan om de volgende bestelling te plaatsen:

Dit maakt het mogelijk om:

●Het volledige schilderproces

●Drogen en afwerken

●Verpakking

●Mogelijke vertragingen in de levering, vooral tijdens drukke periodes

Het maken van op maat gemaakte kunstwerken kost tijd en ik wil dat elk kunstwerk iets is waar u echt trots op bent om cadeau te doen.

💛 Een bericht van de kunstenaar

Ik ben iedereen die voor mijn werk kiest, zeer dankbaar.
Uw vertrouwen stelt mij in staat om kunstwerken te creëren die vol emotie, detail en zorg zitten: kunstwerken die onderdeel worden van uw persoonlijke verhaal.

Houd er rekening mee dat ik een kunstenaar ben die elk stuk met de hand maakt. Daarnaast werk ik gestaag aan opdrachten en heb ik te maken met de dagelijkse verantwoordelijkheden van het leven.
Daarom moeten deadlines gerespecteerd worden en kunnen deze niet versneld worden.

Ik wil u hartelijk danken voor uw geduld, uw waardering en uw begrip voor het ambachtelijke karakter van mijn werk.

Belangrijke update voor Amerikaanse kopers (van kracht vanaf 29 augustus 2025):

Een recent Amerikaans presidentieel decreet heeft de vrijstelling van invoerrechten voor kleine pakketten afgeschaft, wat betekent dat de meeste internationale pakketten – ongeacht de waarde – nu mogelijk onderworpen zijn aan douaneheffingen.

🎉Er is echter goed nieuws voor kunstliefhebbers: onder het Amerikaanse geharmoniseerde tariefschema (hoofdstuk 97) zijn originele kunstwerken en kunstprints nog steeds vrijgesteld van invoerrechten, omdat ze worden geclassificeerd als informatieve of culturele artikelen.

Hoewel uw bestelling vanuit het Verenigd Koninkrijk wordt verzonden, hoeft u geen extra douanekosten, invoerrechten of verzendkosten te betalen. U betaalt alleen de prijs die bij het afrekenen wordt weergegeven.

Ik weet dat deze nieuwe regels verwarrend zijn, en ik help graag als er vragen over de douane ontstaan!

Welkom in mijn winkel!

Ik ben een traditionele illustrator en elk werk dat je hier ziet, begint als een originele, handgeschilderde aquarel. Ik verkoop originele kunstwerken, fine art prints en neem opdrachten op maat aan.

Ben je nieuwsgierig naar de mogelijkheden om iets te laten maken, maar weet je niet zeker welk type het beste bij je past – of heb je twijfels? Stuur me dan gerust een berichtje! Ik help je graag verder.

Alle prints worden gemaakt op hoogwaardig aquarelpapier van kunstenaarskwaliteit, gemaakt van katoen. Dit zorgt ervoor dat de textuur, kleur en kwaliteit zo dicht mogelijk bij het origineel blijven. Of u nu een print of een origineel koopt, u ontvangt altijd iets met een traditionele, handgemaakte uitstraling die de warmte van het proces uitstraalt.

Let op: Kunstwerken worden zonder lijst verkocht. De lijsten op de foto's zijn uitsluitend bedoeld ter decoratie en zijn niet bij de prijs inbegrepen. Ik heb ze gekozen omdat ze goed bij de stukken passen, maar ik verkoop deze lijsten niet en kan u niet helpen bij het vinden ervan. Ik ben dol op antiek en unieke stukken. Bedankt voor uw begrip!

Geachte klanten,

Ik waardeer uw interesse in mijn werk en uw steun voor mijn kleine bedrijf enorm. Ik weet dat het verleidelijk kan zijn om te profiteren van kortingen tijdens het winkelen – we houden tenslotte allemaal van een goede deal! Als u een kortingscode hebt ontvangen, aarzel dan niet om deze te gebruiken. Ik verzoek u echter vriendelijk om niet meerdere kortingscodes te combineren en deze te gebruiken voor aangepaste commissies.

Ik wil iedereen er ook vriendelijk aan herinneren om gebruik te maken van multi-aanbiedingenkortingen. Hoewel het misschien een slimme manier lijkt om wat meer te besparen, bijvoorbeeld door kleinere artikelen toe te voegen aan een grotere bestelling, zijn deze kortingen bedoeld voor artikelen binnen dezelfde categorie (zoals alle stickers of alle prints van hetzelfde formaat). Mijn doel is om de prijzen eerlijk te houden voor de unieke, op maat gemaakte stukken die ik maak, aangezien elk stuk veel tijd, vaardigheid en zorg vereist. Bovendien vereisen opdrachten op maat speciale verpakking om schade te voorkomen en tracking, zodat we de voortgang van de levering kunnen volgen. Aquarelkunst is bijzonder kwetsbaar en elk stuk is een uniek, onvervangbaar kunstwerk.

Ik wil graag met plezier aan je werk werken, wetende dat het een eerlijke ruil is. Begrijp alsjeblieft dat het zoeken naar manieren om de kosten te verlagen, vooral via technische details, me niet het gevoel geeft dat ik gewaardeerd word als de kunstenaar achter het werk. Als ik merk dat er meerdere kortingen worden gebruikt of als er een aanzienlijke prijsverlaging is die niet strookt met mijn inspanningen, moet ik mogelijk contact met je opnemen om dit te bespreken.

Bedankt voor uw begrip en dat u de inspanning die achter elk stuk zit, waardeert. Uw steun betekent enorm veel voor mij!

🎄 Holiday & Christmas Cut-Offs — Prints & Non-Custom Items
To give your order the best chance of arriving for Christmas, please purchase before my annual cut-off date
UK orders: 20 December
International orders: Usually 3–5 business days, as indicated by Royal Mail's official website,
however Christmas post can be unpredictable, so a little extra time is always wise.

Orders placed after this date will still be dispatched quickly, but Christmas delivery cannot be guaranteed.
Shipping times vary by country, and once posted, delivery speed is outside my control.

Custom, hand-painted artwork cannot be guaranteed — including for Christmas — at any time of year.
Each piece is created slowly and carefully using traditional methods, so commissions follow their own natural timeline.

Please note:
• Commission schedules cannot be tied to Christmas, birthdays, weddings, or any specific date.
• I do not offer “urgent” or “express” commissions, because it is not realistic due to the nature of the creative process.
• A commission is a bespoke artwork — and it cannot be rushed to match a date-based service.

If you wish to gift a commission, the best approach is to order several months in advance and enjoy the artwork whenever it is beautifully finished.

All prints and non-custom pieces are carefully packaged and dispatched within 1–3 business days.

🎨 Hand-Painted Commissions

Each commission is a one-of-a-kind artwork, fully hand-painted in my signature fine-art watercolor style.
Because every piece is created with intention, detail, and craftsmanship, the process requires both time and focus.

Average creation time: approximately 4 weeks for A4 size pieces.
This reflects the care and traditional techniques involved in producing a piece meant to be treasured.

Please note:

●Processing times may vary depending on the complexity of the composition

●I work through commissions in the order they are booked

●Timelines cannot be rushed or shortened

●This is a handcrafted, artisan service — not a mass-produced product

The quality of the final piece is my top priority, and that requires patience and respect for the creative process.

⏰ For Gifts, Birthdays & Special Occasions

I fully understand how meaningful it is to gift a personalised artwork.
However, due to the bespoke nature of the work and international shipping variables, I cannot guarantee delivery for any specific date or event.

For the best chance of receiving a commission in time for a special occasion, I highly recommend placing the order:

A recent U.S. executive order has eliminated the de minimis duty-free exemption, meaning that most international packages—regardless of value—may now incur customs fees

🎉However, there’s good news for art lovers: Under the U.S. Harmonized Tariff Schedule (Chapter 97), original artwork and fine art prints are still duty-free, as they are classified as informational or cultural items.

So, even though your order ships from the UK, you should not be charged any extra customs, duties, or additional postage—you’ll pay only the price shown at checkout.

Please note: Artwork is sold unframed. The frames shown in photos are for styling purposes only and are not included in the price. I’ve chosen them because they complement the pieces well, but I don’t sell these frames and I can’t assist with sourcing them — I have a love for antiques and one-of-a-kind items. I also want to gently remind everyone about using multi-offer discounts. While it may seem like a clever way to save a bit more, such as adding smaller items to a larger purchase, these discounts are intended for items within the same category (like all stickers or all prints of the same size). My goal is to keep the pricing fair for the unique custom pieces I create, as each one requires a significant amount of time, skill, and care. Additionally, custom commissions need special packaging to avoid damage and tracking to ensure we can monitor the delivery progress. Watercolour art is especially delicate and each piece is one of a kind irreplaceable piece of art work.

I want to be happy working on your piece, knowing that it’s a fair exchange. Please understand that trying to find ways to lower the cost, especially through technicalities, doesn’t make me feel valued as the artist behind the work.
