The Soul of a Tailor in Every Stitch
Hello! I’m Ihor, and my journey with a needle and thread started in my early childhood. I followed my passion and became a professional tailor, but I always felt that my skills were meant for something more personal than just clothing.
The inspiration for Noiri came from my wife. For a long time, she searched for the perfect cosmetic bag — something that wasn't just beautiful, but truly durable and professional. Seeing her disappointment with mass-market options, I decided to create one myself.
We spent over six months just searching for the right materials. We tested everything: cotton, linen, ordinary synthetics... as a tailor, I was frustrated because these fabrics couldn't survive even a few washes without losing their shape and soul. That’s how we discovered our unique premium velvet. It’s incredibly tactile, yet tough enough to protect your expensive beauty tools for years.
When we first opened Noiri in Ukraine, the growth was so rapid and overwhelming that I had to make a difficult choice. I didn't want to compromise on quality for the sake of speed, so I chose to pause our global Etsy store to focus on perfecting our craft and serving our local community.
However, life brings its own changes. As the situation in Ukraine shifted and local demand slowed down, it gave me something I hadn’t had for years: Time.
For a long time, I felt a bit guilty that I couldn't share our creations with customers in the World , because we were so busy at home. Now, I see this period as a gift and a long-awaited chance to finally open our doors to you. I’ve used this time to rethink every detail and update our collection. What used to be a local success is now my personal mission: to bring a piece of Ukrainian craftsmanship and premium comfort to your home.
