NoteZee

Cuando mi hijo comenzó el jardín de infantes, estaba muy emocionado y confiado. Sabía que quería sorprenderlo con una pequeña nota para hacerle saber que estaba pensando en él en su nueva y emocionante aventura. Recurrí a Internet y encontré una variedad de imprimibles divertidos que podía imprimir en casa cuando lo necesitaba. Le encantaban esas pequeñas notas. Al principio no podía leer el mensaje simple, pero todavía estaba emocionado de ver las pequeñas imágenes. Al principio corría en la casa después de la escuela y preguntaba: "Mami, qué decía la nota de hoy" y yo sacaba la nota de su lonchera y la leía con él. Después de repetir la nota un par de veces, me decía lo que decía. No tenía idea de que esas pequeñas notas del almuerzo se convertirían en una divertida lección de lectura. En la ocasión en que me olvidaba de poner una nota en su lonchera, él siempre me recordaba diciendo tristemente: "Mami, no pusiste una nota en mi lonchera hoy". Pensé para mí mismo, ¡WOW! Realmente espera con ansias mis pequeñas notas cada día.

Como esos imprimibles eran excelentes para Kindergarten y Primer grado, me encontré siempre imprimiendo y cortando porque no duraban. Como mamá trabajadora ocupada, no siempre tenía el tiempo o la energía para hacer un nuevo lote. Sabiendo lo divertidas que eran las notas para él, necesitaba encontrar una nota de lonchera resistente y reutilizable. Una vez más recurrí a Internet y simplemente no pude encontrar lo que estaba buscando, ¡así que nació la idea de NoteZee!

When my son started Kindergarten, he was so excited and confident. I knew I wanted to surprise him with a little note to let him know I was thinking about him on his new exciting adventure. I turned to the internet and found a variety of fun printables that I could print at home whenever I needed to. He LOVED those little notes. He could not read the simple message at first, but was still excited to see the little pictures. In the beginning he would run in the house after school and ask, “Mommy what did today’s note say” and I would take out the note from his lunchbox and read it with him. After repeating the note a few times, he would tell me what it said. I had no idea those little lunch notes would turn into a fun reading lesson. On the occasion I would forget to put a note in his lunchbox, he would always remind me by sadly saying, “Mommy, you didn’t put a note in my lunchbox today.” I thought to myself, WOW! He really looks forward to my little notes each day.

As those printables were great for Kindergarten and First grade, I found myself always printing and cutting because they didn’t last. As a busy working Mom, I didn’t always have the time or energy to make a new batch. Knowing how much fun the notes were for him, I needed to find a sturdy and reusable lunchbox note. I once again turned to the internet and just couldn’t find what I was looking for, so the idea of NoteZee was born!!
