Ik ontwerp kruissteekpatronen geïnspireerd door mythologie, natuur, folklore en de magie van het dagelijks leven. Elk patroon begint met een schets, een stemming of een sprankje inspiratie – en vervolgens vertaal ik het naar een overzichtelijk, gemakkelijk te volgen digitaal patroon waar borduurders van alle niveaus van kunnen genieten.
Kruissteken voelde voor mij altijd als een vredig ritueel: steekje voor steekje, kijkend naar een beeld dat langzaam onder je handen groeit. Mijn doel is om dat gevoel met jou te delen via patronen die mooi zijn, ontspannend om te borduren en bevredigend om af te maken.
Elk ontwerp is ontworpen met helderheid en eenvoud in gedachten – geen stiksteken, geen ingewikkelde speciale steken. Alleen strakke, volledige steken, eenvoudige symbolen en lay-outs die je helpen om van begin tot eind van het proces te genieten.
