24./25. November – GUTE NACHRICHTEN!!! Ein guter Freund wird Pakete für mich aufgeben! Das bedeutet, dass ich weiterhin Schmuck herstellen kann. BITTE BEACHTEN: Aus offensichtlichen Gründen kann ich keine Eilbestellungen annehmen. Er holt die Pakete nur einmal pro Woche ab und gibt sie am Wochenende je nach seinem Zeitplan auf. 22./25. November – Leider hatte ich vor zwei Wochen einen schweren Unfall. Ich habe seitdem nur mit großer Mühe Schmuck hergestellt und Pakete verschickt. Aber ich muss ehrlich zu mir selbst sein: Ich bin völlig überfordert. Ich werde den Shop vorübergehend schließen, bis ich wieder gesund bin, da ich weder die Treppe hinuntergehen noch zur Post gehen kann. Ich werde den Shop so schnell wie möglich wieder öffnen, aber im Moment muss ich mich mit meinem gebrochenen Bein erst einmal erholen. Ich bitte vielmals um Entschuldigung für die Unannehmlichkeiten.
Eilmeldung: Ab dem 11. Oktober um 6 Uhr morgens führt Canada Post wechselnde Streiks durch. Dies ist besser als ein vollständiger Arbeitskampf. Pakete werden nun wieder zugestellt, wenn auch langsamer, da die Post nicht täglich arbeitet. Es besteht weiterhin ein zweiwöchiger Rückstau aufgrund des Streiks. Die Servicequalität wird nicht wie gewohnt gewährleistet sein, aber zumindest nimmt die Post wieder Pakete an. Alle meine Pakete mit Rückstau wurden heute versendet, und ich werde Ihnen die Sendungsnummern so schnell wie möglich mitteilen. Vielen Dank für Ihre Geduld.
UPDATE: Stand 26.09.2025... Canada Post streikt erneut :( Pakete werden bis zum Ende des Streiks zurückgehalten. Falls Sie die Ware dringend benötigen, können wir alternative Versandoptionen besprechen. Diese werden jedoch voraussichtlich einige Dollar teurer sein als die angegebenen Preise. Bitte stellen Sie alle Fragen vor Ihrer Bestellung. Zusätzlich fallen bei der Zustellung Zollgebühren an, auf die ich keinen Einfluss habe. Andere Versanddienstleister sind deutlich teurer als die nationale Post. Sollten Sie es eilig haben, tragen Sie bitte alle zusätzlichen Kosten selbst, da ich dafür nicht verantwortlich bin. Update 21./22. April. Nachdem ich seit Oktober 2021 mehrere Monate nicht mehr auf Etsy aktiv war und erst seit dem 17. März 2022 wieder online bin, freue ich mich riesig über die jüngsten Verkäufe. Die neunte Spendenrate ging heute an das Toronto Wildlife Centre. Vielen Dank an die einheimischen Fledermäuse, Eulen, Opossums und Co. – und auch an mich! Am 4. Vielen Dank für die tollen Verkäufe! Am 21. September 2020 habe ich meine erste Spende an das Toronto Wildlife Centre (TWC) geleistet. Die zweite Rate ging am 9. November 2020 an das TWC. Die dritte Rate wurde am 28. Januar 2021 überwiesen, die vierte am 26. März 2021, die fünfte am 7. Mai 2021, die sechste am 23. Juni 2021, die siebte am 16. August 2021, die achte am 20. September 2021, die neunte am 21. April 2022, die zehnte am 8. Juli 2022. Die elfte Rate ging am 4. August 2022 an International Animal Rescue zum Schutz indischer Faultierbären. Die zwölfte Rate wurde am 10. November 2022 an das TWC überwiesen, die dreizehnte am 13. März 2023. Rate 14 ging am 28.11.23 an TWC. Rate 15 ging am 26.09.24. Rate 16 ging am 05.05.25 an die Toronto Humaine Society. Rate 17 ging am 05.06.25 an TWC. Ich führe hier Aufzeichnungen über die Zahlungen, sowohl für meine eigenen Unterlagen als auch damit meine Kunden sehen können, dass ihr Beitrag beim Schmuckkauf dem Schutz der heimischen Tierwelt zugutekommt.

Nov 24/25 - GOOD NEWS!!! a close friend will post parcels for me! this means i can continue to create jewellery. PLEASE NOTE: I can't accept rush orders for obvious reasons. Nov 22/25 - I unfortunately had a bad accident 2 weeks ago. With great difficulty i've been creating jewellery and posting parcels. But i have to be honest with myself. I'm out of my depth. I'll be putting the shop on vacation mode until i recover as i can't make it down the stairs or to the post office anymore. I'll activate the shop as soon as a i can, but right now with a broken leg, i need to heal. I'm very sorry for this inconvenience.
BREAKING NEWS: As of Oct 11th at 6am, Canada Post will be doing rotating strikes. This is better than a full work stoppage. This means parcels will now start to move through the system, albeit at a slower pace since work will not be every day for the postal service. There is still a backlog of 2 weeks from the strike as well. Service standards will not be met, but at least the post office is accepting parcels once more. As of today, all my backlog parcels have been sent and i'll provide tracking numbers as soon as possible. Thanks for your patience.
UPDATE: AS of Sept 26/25...Canada Post is on strike again :( Parcels are being held until the strike is over. If you need it urgently we can discuss other carrier options but they will likely be several dollars more expensive than what is listed. Please ask any questions prior to placing orders. There will also be brokerage duties upon delivery which is out of my hands. Other carriers are far more expensive than using the country's national post option. If you are in a rush please be prepared to pay all the additional fees as i won't be responsible for them. Thank you for your patience and understanding.
Update April 21/22. After been off Etsy for several months beginning in October 2021 and just recently on as of March 17/22. I really really appreciate the recent sales. New Charity donation given to International Animal Rescue to save Indian Sloth Bears on August 4/22.

If i have to put down a fake number and the parcel is lost, It's your responsibility to track your item. I will not be held responsible. I've had to update shipping prices due to 2 recent sales. Canada Post has greatly inflated costs for shipping with tracking to UK and beyond. Please see options. You can either have with tracking or without tracking to lower the cost. For Australia/New Zealand customers, due to the vast distance, the price is fixed and only comes with tracking. USA customers, with tracking is the cheapest and best option available.
DOMESTIC CUSTOMERS i.e. CANADA. I have had to upgrade the tracking option as Canada Post has raised prices. If you choose regular parcel that will now be without tracking as that covers the cost of packaging material and shipping fees. The upgraded option will allow for tracking going forward.
