Pappet - Making paper come alive PAPER CRAFT KITS

Me encanta pensar y experimentar.
I have a daughter who is full of pep. Luckily, she also loves to create: cut, colour, paint, glue, weave, and bead. She is my first and biggest critic. She’ll tell you right away if she likes something or not. Sometimes it is her idea that starts a process. She also enjoys testing finished toys.
This short video could show my imagination: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YC_ERiuh0jI
Each child inspires me who likes to work with color pencil, scissor and glue.
I believe the children’s creations are often more interesting, and more magical than I can imagine ever.
I gain inspiration from a lot of illustrations that I find online. Often I feel like I wish I would have done them.
I love working with paper, it is a well-known material available to everybody. People are not ‘afraid’ of it. On the other hand, it is very versatile and easy to use. My motto is: Give space to kids' creativity and desire to create. I can just hope that my toys are inspiring and that they induce the creative process and then move to the background and let the kids create according to their imagination. On the other hand, I hope they can help the less confident ones and show them the way to a nice result. I wish that people who buy my toys find them a ‘time well spent’, people who will find joy in the finished product but find real joy in creating itself.
My process always begins with pen and paper. From the idea to the final product, there are countless prototypes and hours of work. I love brainstorming and experimenting. Creating a demo version and detailing can be a tedious process, but I like doing optimization for manufacturing too. When the toy is finished I usually have to make loads of samples to be put up in shops.
I have designed Pappet kits to inspire children and adults to make unique, individual ‘works of art’. My goal is for their imaginations to run free and for them to enjoy this activity.
A child can confidently tackle these kits but they are also a great project for a group, for a family. Children and adults can work alongside each other, chatting and being creative.
