Benvenuti nel mio angolo del mondo del quilting! Sono così felice che tu sia qui. Mi chiamo Glynis e sono la creatrice di questi sfacciati e moderni modelli di foundation paper piecing (FPP). Di giorno sono un'ingegnere, ma di notte (e nei weekend!) seguo fili sciolti e tessuti tagliati in giro per casa come quilter. Quello che è iniziato come un hobby creativo si è trasformato in una passione per la condivisione di design unici e autodisegnati con altre quilter che amano un tocco di tradizione.
Qui troverete modelli che riflettono il mio amore per le idee audaci, l'illustrazione grafica e un apprezzamento per l'inaspettato. Che siate alle prime armi con FPP o che facciate quilting da anni, il mio obiettivo è realizzare modelli divertenti, stimolanti e accessibili a tutti i livelli di abilità.
Ogni modello è realizzato con cura, con istruzioni dettagliate per guidarti in ogni fase del percorso, perché so quanto sia appagante vedere la tua visione prendere vita (e quanto possa essere frustrante quando le istruzioni ti lasciano in sospeso!). Credo fermamente che il modello debba essere bello quanto il prodotto finito, quindi spero che la mia attenzione ai dettagli renda la tua esperienza di quilting un po' più semplice.
Quando non sono impegnata a trapuntare, probabilmente mi troverete a disegnare nuovi modelli, a sistemare la mia scorta di stoffe o a stirare all'infinito un lavoro in corso.

Welcome to my corner of the quilting world! I'm so glad you're here. My name is Glynis, and I'm the maker behind these cheeky, modern foundation paper piecing (FPP) patterns. By day, I'm an engineer, but by night (and weekends!), I track loose threads and trimmed fabric all around my home as a quilter. What started as a creative hobby has grown into a passion for sharing unique, self-drafted designs with fellow quilters who love a little twist on the traditional.

I’m a big believer that the pattern should be as beautiful as the finished product, so I hope my attention to detail makes your quilting experience a bit easier.
When I’m not quilting, you’ll probably find me drafting new patterns, curating my fabric stash, or endlessly ironing a work in progress.
