SCALPR begon als een grap... en werd vervolgens al snel veel te serieus.
Deze winkel is voor verzamelaars die precies weten wie ze zijn. De pakjesopeners. De ringbandbouwers. De mensen die "alleen maar even kijken" en toch met een tas vol kaarten de winkel verlaten. Degenen die zeggen dat het goedkoper is om de kaarten los te kopen, maar toch pakjes openen omdat de zoektocht de helft van het plezier is.
Wij maken kleding geïnspireerd op verzamelaars, voor mensen die zich bevinden in dat vreemde niemandsland tussen hobby, nostalgie, chaos en twijfelachtige financiële beslissingen.
Onze ontwerpen zijn gebaseerd op de verzamelcultuur: kaartwinkels, zeldzame kaarten, prijzen op de tweedehandsmarkt, late-night-aanbiedingen, ruilstapels, de verleiding van verzegelde producten en de specifieke voldoening van het vinden van iets wat je echt wilde hebben.
SCALPR draait niet om het te serieus nemen van de hobby. Het gaat erom plezier te hebben met de waanzin.

SCALPR started as a joke… and then immediately became way too real.
This shop is for collectors who know exactly who they are. The pack rippers. The binder builders. The “I’m just looking” people who somehow leave the card shop with a bag. The ones who say buying the single would be cheaper, then open packs anyway because the hunt is half the fun.
We make collector-inspired apparel for the people living in that weird little space between hobby, nostalgia, chaos, and questionable financial decisions.
Our designs are built around the culture of collecting — card shops, chase cards, aftermarket prices, late-night listings, trade piles, sealed product temptation, and the very specific joy of pulling something you actually wanted.
SCALPR is not about taking the hobby too seriously. It’s about having fun with the madness.
