The quality of this shea butter has been by far the best that I have encountered. I have ordered twice already and each time I have been blessed and highly favored 🙌🏾. The price is a tad bit expensive but I totally understand. The quality, richness, and quantity of the product, awesome customer service, and care when shipping makes the price worth it. I use it for my family's skin and hair care needs and we absolutely love it. Thank you 🙏🏾. Will definitely be purchasing more, when available.

How is Nilotica Shea Butter from Secrets of Uganda different?

Vitellaria Nilotica Shea Butter is superior in quality and soft in texture with a mild natural scent when compared to the west African variety Vitellaria Paradoxa. This is because it has a higher content of Olein, and so there is no need for melting or further processing.

Vitellaria Nilotica has a comedogenic rating of zero meaning it does not clog poores, may be used as a face cream and well as full body moisturizer, including hair/scalp.

It is 100% natural, cold pressed and unrefined to protect the natural properties for which Shea Butter is much sought after.

Shea Butter is an excellent moisturizer for extremely dry skin conditions such as eczema and psoriasis. It is safe for babies and those with sensitive skin & vegan friendly.
