I always loved making things.
Cuando era pequeña, me encantaba clasificar todas las latas en el garaje de mi padre. Me enseñó a cambiar el filtro de aceite del coche. Luego empecé a hacer pedazos las cosas, para ver cómo funcionaban. La radio y el reloj. Pero siempre funcionaron después de que los volví a juntar. Hice vestidos para mis muñecas y mis trolls, y luego hice vestidos para mí.
Disfruto de la capacidad de trabajar desde casa y la libertad de trabajar las horas que quiero, tal vez para salir a caminar a mitad del día si me siento tan inclinado.
Siempre me ha encantado hacer cosas. Y ver cómo funcionan las cosas. Ahora hago joyas, vigiladas por Tango la Serpiente de Maíz, e Iggy, el troll gigante de pelo azul. Este es el trabajo creativo que siempre quise.
When I was little I loved sorting through all the little tins in my dad's garage. He taught me how to change the oil filter on the car. Then I started taking things to pieces, to see how they worked. The radio, and the clock. But they always did work after I had put them back together again. I made dresses for my dolls and my trolls, and then I made dresses for myself.
I enjoy the ability to work from home, and the freedom to work the hours I want to - perhaps to go for a walk in the middle of the day if I feel so inclined.
I've always loved making things. And seeing how things work. Now I make jewellery, watched over by Tango the Corn Snake, and Iggy, the giant blue haired troll. This is the creative job that I always wanted.
