Ciao sono estate ! Sono una mamma casalinga di una terza elementare che ho homeschool e un bambino di 6 mesi! È impegnato da queste parti!
Prima di stare a casa con i miei figli, sono stato un insegnante di scuola materna e un educarer neonato / bambino per molti anni. Ho anche il mio master in Early Education. Non ho iniziato a fare arte fino a quando mia figlia (che ora ha 8 anni) ha fatto un pisolino da bambina. Ho iniziato a dipingere durante i suoi sonnellini come sbocco creativo e si è bloccato. Ho iniziato a fare materiali per mia figlia per l'homeschooling e mi è stato chiesto ripetutamente di creare materiali anche per gli altri. Alla fine, ho iniziato a vendere i miei materiali ed è nato The Knothole Tree! The Knothole Tree è un'ode a uno dei miei libri preferiti, To Kill a Mockingbird, dove Boo fa cose per i bambini e li nasconde nel nodo dell'albero perché possano trovarli. Before staying home with my kids, I was a preschool teacher and an infant/toddler educarer for many many years. I have my masters degree in Early Education as well. I didn’t start making art until my daughter (who’s now 8) would nap as a baby. I started painting during her naps as a creative outlet and it stuck. I started making my daughter materials for homeschooling and was asked repeatedly to make materials for others too. Eventually, I began selling my materials and The Knothole Tree was born! The Knothole Tree is an ode to one of my favorite books, To Kill a Mockingbird- where Boo makes things for the children and hides them in the tree’s knothole for them to find.
