Varför var det metallblommor i början?
Why in the beginning were the metal flowers?
En dag i maj 2015 gjorde jag en smides koppartulpan till min fru. Hon gillade den så mycket att den enda tulpanen blev en serie smidesmetallblommor. Några av järn, andra av koppar, några förtennade, andra patinerade eller genomskurna för en spetsliknande effekt. Sedan började jag leka med former, olika metoder för svetsning och smedtekniker, skärning och patinering av kemikalier, lackering. Efter de första tulpanerna gjorde jag några vallmoblommor.
Allt är handgjort, men jag använder inte bara klassiska instrument, utan även svetsmaskiner och plasmaskärare.
Vi bestämde oss för att dela dessa ömtåliga och vackra, men oväntat grova blommor med er. De kommer aldrig att vissna och dö, utan kommer att ge er en känsla av forntid och evighet.
Mina metallblommor kan vara en unik gåva, eller arrangeras i ditt hem, på din uteplats eller i trädgården. De ser lika bra ut som enstaka eller i en bukett, liggande på ett bord/mantel eller i en vas/flaska. Några av blommorna kan sättas i sten, träbit eller tegel genom att borra ett litet hål för stjälken.
Tulpaner, vallmo, det spelar ingen roll vilken blomma det är, de kan till och med användas för självförsvar - de är så gediget gjorda! :)
Alla blommor har matt akryllack, som är diskret och delikat.
Vallmon är tre blommor på en stjälk som en bukett, och är vanligtvis högre än tulpanerna. De varierar mellan 33 cm och 45 cm.
Lamporna, klockorna och annat är olika, alla har sin egen unika design. De är verkligen mer än bara ett heminredningsobjekt. De är konstverk :)
*Var försiktig! Även om jag gör mitt bästa för att släta ut alla kanter, finns det fortfarande en del ojämnheter, det är ju trots allt plåt och ståltråd.
*Tänk på att trots akryllacken kan kanterna på järnblommorna fortfarande rosta. Detta är inte en defekt, utan en effekt! Beroende på var du förvarar dem och de atmosfäriska förhållandena kan din blomma rosta mer eller mindre. Ju mer fukt - desto mer rost.

One day in May 2015 I made made wrought copper tulip for my wife. She liked it so much, that the single tulip became a series of wrought metal flowers. Some from iron, others of copper, some tinned, others patinated or cut-through for a lacelike effect. Than I started playing with shapes, different methods of welding and blacksmith technics, cutting and patinating chemicals, varnishing. After the first several tulips I made some poppies.
Everything is handmade, but I use not only the classical instruments, but also welding machines and plasma cutter.
We decided to to share these tender and beautiful, yet unexpectedly rough flowers with you. They will never wither and die, but will bring you an air of antiquity and eternity.
My metal flowers could be an unique gift, or arranged in your home, on your patio or yard. They look equally good as singles or in a bouquet, laying on a table/mantle or in a vase/bottle. Some of the flowers are/could be set in stone, piece of wood or brick by drilling a small hole for the stem.
Tulips, poppies, doesn't matter what the flower is, could even be used for self defence - they are so solidly made! :)
All flowers have matte acrylic varnish, that is unnoticeable and delicate.
The poppies are three blooms on a stem like a bouquet, and usually are taller than the tulips. They vary between 33cm(13in) and 45cm(17,7in).
The lamps, clocks and others are different each, each of them has their own unique design. Really are more than an object of home decoration. They are works of art :)
*Be careful! Although I do my best to smooth all the edges, there is still some roughness, it's tin and wire, after all.
*Keep in mind, that in spite of the acryllic varnish, the edges of the iron flowers are still able to rust. This is not a defect, but an Effect! Depending on the place you keep them, and the athmospheric conditions your flower could rust more or less. The more moisture - the more rust.
