Welcome to XIE SHENG (写生). We are an independent, original designer menswear brand dedicated to exploring "Naturalism in the artistic conception of life aesthetics."
Our story began with a simple belief: fashion should not confine thoughts or the inner self, but rather offer a free, open posture for everyday life. In a world driven by fast trends, we proudly stand for slow fashion and quiet luxury. We build our collections around three core elements: "Chillax" (an accommodating, relaxed state of mind), "Contemporary" (resonating with modern, deconstructed silhouettes), and "Humanities" (a return to natural, humanistic textures).
THE DESIGN PROCESS 🧵
Every piece in our shop starts as an original hand-drawn sketch by our design team in Guangzhou, China. We draw deep inspiration from Eastern cultural heritage, blending traditional elements—like Mandarin collars and asymmetrical knot closures—with modern, minimalist tailoring. Fabric selection is our absolute obsession. We carefully source premium, eco-friendly materials such as breathable cotton, raw hemp, smooth Lyocell, and luxurious Mulberry silk to ensure each garment feels as natural and grounded as it looks.

Bringing our complex, unstructured designs to life requires highly specialized tailoring and delicate fabric handling. Therefore, we proudly collaborate with a trusted boutique apparel studio right here in our hometown of Guangzhou. This close-knit partnership allows us to translate our original sketches into flawless physical pieces while maintaining impeccable quality control. We oversee every single step of the process, from the first stitch to the final packaging, ensuring that our strict ethical and aesthetic standards are always met.
