York Sign Shop...A History
Tutto è iniziato dopo che Nate ha terminato la sua prima mezza maratona nel 2011. Abbiamo iniziato a chiederci se qualcuno vendesse qualcosa a cui appendere le nostre medaglie. Ho trovato alcuni posti che lo facevano... ma erano costosi, mal fatti o non avevano l'aspetto che ci piaceva. Nate è molto bravo con la lavorazione del legno e a me piace dipingere e disegnare. Abbiamo iniziato a fare brainstorming durante il lungo viaggio in macchina. Quando siamo tornati a casa, avevamo un piano aziendale.
Come funziona:
Il nostro negozio è un laboratorio sopra il nostro garage. Abbiamo una fattoria sulle montagne del Tennessee. Siamo fortunati ad avere questo come lavoro a tempo pieno. Ci consente di trascorrere molto tempo di qualità con nostra figlia di 13 anni e nostro figlio di 15 anni.
È stato davvero emozionante vedere la nostra attività crescere negli ultimi anni! È incredibile quanta strada abbiamo fatto. Ci piace andare alle esposizioni di corse in tutto il sud-est. Ci impegniamo sempre per migliorare il nostro negozio e aggiungere nuovi articoli. Quindi continuate a controllare!

It all started after Nate finished his first half marathon in 2011. We started wondering if anyone sold anything to hang our medals on. I found a few places that did...but they were expensive, poorly made, or not the look that we liked. Nate is really handy with woodworking and I like to paint and design. We started brainstorming on the long car ride. By the time we got home, we had a business plan.
How it works:
Our shop is a workshop above our garage. We have a farmhouse in the mountains of Tennessee. We are lucky to have this as our full time job. It allows us to spend lots of quality time with our 13 year old daughter and 15 year old son.
It has been really exciting to see our business grow over the past few years! It's amazing how far we have come. We love going to race expos throughout the southeast. We are always striving to improve our shop and add new items. So keep checking back in!
