Min passion för glas har funnits med mig sedan jag var liten. Jag minns att jag besökte glasblåserifabriker på Malta, mitt mors land, och hur fascinerad jag var av elden, det glödande glaset och dess förvandling.
Jag studerade konst vid Barcelonas universitet. Efter examen arbetade jag som grafisk formgivare fram till 2003, då jag grundade konstskolan Amb i Vilanova i la Geltrú. År 2009 gav jag mig in i glasvärlden och började designa och skapa kristallsmyckeskollektioner.
De nuvarande kollektionerna är resultatet av åratal av forskning, förfining av handmålade och tryckta glastekniker, och kombinationen av mina andra färdigheter: måleri, illustration och tryckdesign. Varje kollektion har sin egen unika karaktär, en berättelse som definierar och utmärker den, och därför utvecklas de på samma sätt som jag gör.
The passion for glass has been with me since I was a child. I remember the visits to the blown glass factories in Malta, my mother's country, and how I was fascinated by fire, incandescent glass and its transformation.
I studied Fine Arts at the University of Barcelona. Once I finished my degree, I worked as a graphic designer until in 2003 I founded the Amb Art art school in Vilanova y la Geltrú.
In 2009 I entered the world of glass and began to design and create collections of crystal jewelry.
The different current collections are the result of years of research, the purification of the technique of hand-painted and stamped glass and the combination of my "other trades" painting, illustration and print design. Each collection has a footprint, a story that defines and characterizes it and therefore they are also evolving in the same way that I am doing it.
