Local Wave è un marchio lituano specializzato in surf art e altri sport da tavola, con sede sulla costa occidentale della Lituania, vicino al Mar Baltico, a Palanga.
L'essenza di Local Wave si basa sul nostro amore per il mare, la musica, l'arte e gli sport da tavola, che sono i fili conduttori che ci uniscono tutti.
Local Wave è ispirato al film "Bra boys", "Chasing Mavericks" e a Jay Moriarity, surfista di Santa Cruz/California.
BENVENUTI NEL NOSTRO MONDO!

Artista: Samanta Marile Ibanez è nata nel 1987 a Buenos Aires, Argentina.
Il mio percorso artistico è iniziato in prima elementare, diplomandomi al Liceo Artistico Eduardo Balsis in Lituania. In seguito ho studiato all'Accademia di Belle Arti di Vilnius. Nel 2009 ho completato gli studi in Design del Costume, conseguendo la laurea triennale in Arti.
Nel 2009, dopo gli studi, insieme al mio amico Martynas Ilgauskas, che condivideva i miei stessi interessi, ho fondato il marchio internazionale di street style giovanile Mad Pico. I principali elementi creativi sono stati la grafica, la serigrafia, la stampa digitale e il ricamo. Le collezioni hanno raggiunto l'estero e abbiamo collaborato con successo con boutique di moda alternativa in Germania (Berlino, Monaco, Stoccarda, Amburgo, Magdeburgo), Australia, Gran Bretagna, Repubblica Ceca e Russia.
Nel 2010, lo streetwear Mad Pico è stato presentato in una delle più grandi settimane della moda alternativa al mondo, la mostra London Edge.
In seguito ho iniziato a creare elementi di graphic design per studi di registrazione di musica alternativa, come la tedesca Bandworms Records, la rock band svedese Perkele e il marchio di streetwear Hooligan.
Nella mia vita quotidiana, l'arte e gli sport acquatici mi accompagnano, sono inseparabili l'uno dall'altro. La natura - il mare, le onde, il vento - ci permette di essere più vicini alla vera natura dell'uomo, ci ispira a creare e a goderci il momento. La vita è troppo breve per correre costantemente l'uno contro l'altro, contro il tempo, che è molto più avanti di tutti.

DIPINTI - Sono i miei racconti creativi, come momenti di pausa da infiniti viaggi, foto, film... quando il pulsante della macchina fotografica non viene premuto in tempo.
Questi sono mini-estratti: i volti delle persone che incontri, a volte anche sconosciuti, storie raccontate da un senso di libertà, dal fruscio del mare o del vento. L'ispirazione principale è il surf, il kitesurf, il longboard, i viaggi, i tatuaggi, la musica e l'arte. Le mie opere creative sono pensate per individualisti che desiderano esprimere il proprio stile, decorare gli interni di bar, studi di bellezza o di tatuaggi, boutique, negozi, persino un ufficio o una casa.

Artist: Samanta Marile Ibanez was born in 1987 in Buenos Aires, Argentina.
My artistic journey began in the first grade, I graduated from the Eduardo Balsis Art Gymnasium in Lithuania. Later I studied at the Vilnius Academy of Arts. In 2009 I completed my studies in Costume Design, receiving a Bachelor of Arts degree.
In 2009, after my studies, together with my like-minded friend Martynas Ilgauskas, I founded the international youth street style brand Mad Pico streetwear. The main creative elements were graphic design, screen printing, digital printing and embroidery. The collections reached abroad and we successfully collaborated with alternative fashion boutiques in Germany - Berlin, Munich, Stuttgart, Hamburg, Magdeburg, Australia, Great Britain, the Czech Republic, and Russia.
In 2010, Mad Pico streetwear was presented at one of the world's largest alternative fashion weeks, the London Edge exhibition.
Later I started creating graphic design attributes for alternative music recording studios, such as the German Bandworms records, the Swedish rock band Perkele, and the Hooligan streetwear brand.
In my everyday life, art and water sports accompany me, they are inseparable from each other. Nature - the sea, waves, wind allows us to be closer to the true nature of man, inspires us to create and enjoy the moment. Life is too short to constantly race against each other, against time, which is far ahead of everyone.

PAINTINGS - These are my creative stories, as if paused moments from endless travels, photos, movies .. when the camera button is not pressed in time.
These are mini-excerpts - the faces of people you meet, sometimes even strangers, stories told by a sense of freedom, the rustle of the sea or the wind. The main inspiration is surfing, kiting, longboarding, travel, tattoo, music and art. My creative works are intended for individualists who want to express their individual style, decorate the interior of cafes, beauty or tattoo studios, boutiques, shops even an office or home.
