Muchos se han preguntado, ¿qué es Eclectic Array? Bueno, ya que preguntaste... déjame decirte. Claramente faltaba un nicho en el mercado. Al vivir en Cabo, había pocas oportunidades de encontrar excelentes lugares para comprar regalos únicos para amigos y familiares, así como llevar a amigos y familiares a comprar excelentes recuerdos mientras están de visita. Estábamos hartos de las mismas cosas viejas en la playa o en los mercados, muchas de las cuales ni siquiera se hacen en México. Me sorprendió ver productos que estaban representados como si estuvieran hechos en México, que realmente estaban hechos en China. Tenemos artesanos increíblemente talentosos en todo México que hacen artículos hermosos y ver que la producción en masa de China se había apoderado de las baratijas en las calles. Esto a su vez estaba perjudicando nuevamente la autonomía de nuestra comunidad artesanal en México, dejando a muchos con aún menos trabajo del que tenían antes.

Faryn Clark, fundadora de Eclectic Array, vivió entre Tulsa, Oklahoma y Dallas, TX la mayor parte de su vida y ha residido en Cabo San Lucas, MX durante los últimos dos años y medio con su esposo, tres niños, 3 perros, 1 gato, tortuga, erizo, escorpión y 15 cangrejos ermitaños ... Cabo es un lugar mágico para su familia y se sienten verdaderamente bendecidos de ser parte de la comunidad. Después de asistir a la Universidad Metodista del Sur en Dallas, TX, se fue a trabajar en el mundo corporativo en Ventas de Dispositivos Médicos antes de embarcarse en el espíritu empresarial. Anteriormente fue propietaria de un Spa de Cuidado de la Piel en los Estados Unidos durante 6 años antes de mudarse a México. Como una emprendedora en serie, ahora lucha contra los impulsos de comenzar nuevos negocios a diario. Entre la gestión de algunas otras operaciones de puesta en marcha y un cambio de marca y relanzamiento de una empresa, sigue apasionada por su trabajo en Eclectic Array sabiendo la diferencia que pueden hacer para las personas de todo el mundo, simplemente alentando a las personas a apoyar a los increíbles artesanos globales.

El concepto fue inspirado por Kiva, una organización sin fines de lucro que se especializa en préstamos de microfinanciación a nivel mundial a personas en situación de pobreza que buscan oportunidades de emprendimiento. Queríamos marcar la diferencia también... de manera similar, Eclectic Array dio a las personas la oportunidad de apoyar a las personas que eran grandes artesanos, mientras marcaban una diferencia en la vida de los demás o para que su familia superara su situación económica actual. Creemos en el comercio justo, artículos únicos y bellamente elaborados que son asequibles y hacen feliz a la gente. Juntos podemos cambiar el mundo. Vamos a COMPRAR GLOBALMENTE.

Many have asked, what is Eclectic Array? Well, since you asked... let me tell you. There was clearly a missing niche in the market place. Living in Cabo, there were few opportunities to find great places to buy unique gifts for friends and family, as well as take friends and family to purchase great souvenirs while they are visiting. We were sick of the same old stuff on the beach or in the markets, many of which are not even made in Mexico. I was shocked to see products that were represented as if they were made in Mexico, that were really made in China. We have incredibly talented artisans across Mexico that make beautiful items and to see that mass production from China had taken over the trinkets in the streets. This in turn was again hurting the autonomy of our artisan community in Mexico, leaving many with even less work than they had before.

Faryn Clark, Founder of Eclectic Array, lived between Tulsa, Oklahoma and Dallas, TX most of her life and has resided in Cabo San Lucas, MX for the last two and a half years with her husband, three boys, 3 dogs, 1 cat, turtle, hedgehog, scorpion, and 15 hermit crabs... Cabo is a magical place for her family and they feel truly blessed to be part of the community. After attending Southern Methodist University in Dallas, TX she went to work in the corporate world in Medical Device Sales prior to embarking on entrepreneurship. She previously owned a Skincare Spa in the US for 6 years prior to moving to Mexico. As a bit of a serial entrepreneur, she now fights off urges to start new businesses daily. Between managing a few other start up operations, and a rebranding and relaunch of a company she stays passionate about her work in Eclectic Array knowing the difference they are able to make for people around the world from simply encouraging people to support incredible global artisans.

The concept was Inspired by Kiva, a non-profit organization that specializes in micro-financing loans globally to individuals in poverty that are seeking entrepreneurship opportunities. We wanted to make a difference as well...in a similar way, and Eclectic Array gave individuals the opportunity to support people that were great artisans, while making a difference in others lives or for their family to rise above their current economic situation. We believe in fair trade, unique, beautifully crafted items that are affordable and make people happy. Together we can change the world. Lets SHOP GLOBAL.
