Me encanta crear arte a través de la fabricación de joyas. Fui a la escuela de arte y me centré en cualquier cosa que me permitiera trabajar con mis manos. Me encanta hacer formas de escultura.... ¡Cuanto más pequeño y meticuloso sea, mejor!

Mi pasión y conjunto de habilidades para trabajar con colores, texturas y diseño corre por mis venas y hace que las joyas sean una salida perfecta para mí. Crear joyas en lugar de esculturas me permite ser expresivo y creativo sin requerir un gran espacio de trabajo de garaje y un gran equipo (¡ya tengo suficientes cosas en mi garaje!).

Creo piezas divertidas, asequibles, funcionales y hermosas hechas a mano que varían en color, diseño y estilos. Me esfuerzo por crear joyas de moda y prácticas que sean únicas, versátiles, coloridas y divertidas. No me limito a un estilo, porque como todos nosotros, no puedes limitar nuestros intereses a una sola cosa. Cada pieza de joyería es diferente y hermosa entre sí tal como somos nosotros.

Mi negocio se llama Productos del 47 porque trabajo bajo la filosofía personal de que todo comienza y es algo pequeño y aparentemente insignificante, pero a través del tiempo, la transición y el diseño, lo que comienza como pequeño, se convierte en algo hermoso con un propósito final.

¿Qué es Products of 47?

Products of 47 tiene un enfoque principal en la joyería de cuentas hecha a mano. Ofrezco piezas divertidas, asequibles y versátiles en una variedad de estilos y diseños. Mis joyas son creadas por la inspiración de la Vida y las Cosas que Amamos. Los productos de 47 joyas utilizan hermosas piedras naturales, cristales Swarovski y otros elementos únicos y utilizan colores, texturas y patrones para la base de los diseños.

Todo el mundo es multifacético, y una de mis otras facetas que me hace único es que también soy un geek bastante grande. Así que para expresar ese lado de mí mismo, también ofrezco una colección de joyas específica llamada Closet Geekery.... joyas que se inspiran en películas, programas de televisión y cultura pop. Una línea divertida y peculiar en el corazón, ofrece hermosas piezas únicas de joyería geek que es sutil y "geek chic" porque, siendo un geek, estamos "orgullosos no ruidosos".

Cero.
Todo comienza como algo pequeño y aparentemente insignificante. La mayoría lo vería simplemente como nada sin propósito o significado.
--- Piense en una semilla, una oruga o una cuenta.

Cuarenta.
Un número significativo que a menudo representa un período de cambio, transición y/ o transformación. Es durante este período, que a través del tiempo, esos elementos aparentemente simples e insignificantes "crecen" a través de un tedioso proceso de tiempo, diseño, amor, creación y cambio.
--- Piense en la semilla que crece en un árbol, la oruga que gira su pupa o capullo, y las cuentas que pasan por el proceso de diseño / creación.

Siete.
Un número perfecto. Es un número que representa la perfección y la finalidad. Esos elementos que eran aparentemente pequeños o nada, de repente tienen un propósito para hacer de esta vida, y del mundo en el que vivimos, un lugar más interesante.

I love creating art through jewelry making. I went to school for art, and focused on anything that allowed me to work with my hands. I love making forms of sculpture....the smaller and more meticulous it is, the better!

My passion and skill set for working with colors, textures and design runs through my veins and makes jewelry making a perfect outlet for me. Creating Jewelry instead of sculpture allows me to be expressive and creative without requiring a huge garage work space and big equipment (I have enough stuff in my garage already!).

I create fun, affordable, functional and beautiful handmade pieces that vary in color, design and styles. I strive to create fashionable and practical jewelry that is unique, versatile, colorful and fun. I don't limit myself to one style, because like all of us, you cannot limit our interests to just one thing. Each piece of jewelry is different and beautiful from each other just as we are.

My business is called Products of 47 because I work under the personal philosophy that everything begins ans something small and seemingly insignificant, but through time, transition and design, what starts out as small, grows into something beautiful with an ultimate purpose.

What is Products of 47?

Products of 47 has a main focus on handmade beaded jewelry. I offer fun, affordable, and versatile pieces in a variety of styles and designs. My jewelry is created by the inspiration of Life and the Things that we Love. Products of 47 jewelry uses beautiful natural stones, Swarovski Crystals, and other unique elements and utilizes colors, textures and patterns for the foundation of the designs.

Everyone is multifaceted, and one of my other facets that makes me unique is that I am also a pretty big geek. So to express that side of myself, I also offer a specific jewelry collection called Closet Geekery....jewelry that takes inspiration from movies, tv shows, and pop culture. A fun and quirky line at heart, it offers beautiful unique pieces of geeky jewelry that is subtle and “geek chic” because, being a geek, we are "proud not loud".

Zero.
Everything starts out as something small and seemingly insignificant. Most would look at it simply as nothing with no purpose or meaning.
--- Think of a seed, a caterpillar, or a bead.

Forty.
A significant number that often represents a period of change, transition and/or a transformation. It is during this period, that through time, those elements seemingly simple and insignificant elements “grow” through a tedious process of time, design, love, creation and change.
--- Think of the seed growing into a tree, the caterpillar spinning it's pupa or cocoon, and the beads going through the design/creation process.

Seven.
A perfect number. It is a number that represents perfection and finality. Those elements that were seemingly small or nothing, suddenly have a purpose to make this life, and the world we live in, a more interesting place.
--- The tree bears fruit and shade, the butterfly pollinates flowers, and the jewelry becomes not just a fashion accessory, but a reflection of one's soul, personality, and style just waiting to be shared with others.
