Mi chiamo Louise Burgess e sono un'artista ed educatrice d'arte che vive a Hastings.
La gamma Wini Tapp Puppet è stata ispirata da un laboratorio d'arte per bambini a cui stavo insegnando.
Ho progettato i kit di marionette per i bambini da truccare. Assistere ai bambini che si divertono così tanto a dare vita ai burattini e ai giochi e alle storie fantasiose che ne sono seguiti mi ha ispirato a creare la linea di marionette per un pubblico più ampio.
Tutti i pupazzi sono i miei disegni e tutta la produzione è fatta qui nel mio studio. Uso una epson Workforce per stampare i disegni e impacchetto tutti i pupazzi da solo. Nel caso in cui la mia stampante di fiducia si comportasse male, mi avvarrei del supporto di Martel Print (una piccola azienda di stampa digitale locale, specializzata in belle arti) per aiutare con qualsiasi spedizione in sospeso.
Se questo fosse il caso, informerei il cliente che un'altra parte era stata coinvolta nella produzione dell'ordine.
Il nome del prodotto deriva da mia nonna, una signora artistica di classe che suonava la fisarmonica, amava i cani carlino e le frustate di rossetto rosso. Sento che merita una resurrezione di qualche tipo, quindi ha deciso il suo nome - Wini Tapp - come marchio.
My name is Louise Burgess and I'm an artist and art educator living in Hastings.
The Wini Tapp Puppet range was inspired from a children's art workshop I was teaching.
I designed the puppet kits for the children to make up. Witnessing the children having so much fun bringing the puppets to life and the imaginative games and stories which followed inspired me to make the puppet line for a wider audience.
All the puppets are my designs and all the production is made here in my studio. I use an Epson Workforce to print the designs and I package all the puppets myself. In the event of my trusted printer misbehaving I would enlist the support of Martel Print ( a small local digital printing company, specialising in fine art ) to help with any pending consignment.
If this was the case I would notify the customer that another party had been involved with the production of the order.
The name of the product comes from my grandmother, a classy artistic lady who played the accordion, loved pug dogs and lashings of red lipstick. I feel she deserves a resurrection of some kind so decided on her name - Wini Tapp - as the brand name.
