What's New
With Etsy’s new shop video feature, you can upload a video about your shop directly to your Shop About section from your computer or the Sell on Etsy app. Your video will be visible to buyers who visit your shop on Etsy.com and the Etsy app. Our research tells us that 57% of buyers are willing to pay more for an item when they know who made it. Giving buyers better insight into your story can help earn their trust and make them feel more confident about making a purchase from your shop. Many shoppers also enjoy learning about the creative entrepreneurs behind Etsy shops.
How it Works

From your iPhone or iPad: Once you download the latest version of the Sell on Etsy app for iOS, you will have access to a new feature that will allow you to shoot, edit and upload a video about your shop directly from the app. We’ll guide you through making a shop video by offering suggestions and help right within the app. The in-app editing tools offers transitions and free music you can use for your shop video. Once your video is finished, you’ll be prompted to upload it to your shop home page from the app.
If you already have a video on your mobile device, you can simply upload it from the app. To access Shop Video in the Sell on Etsy app, go to Shop Settings > Shop Video.
From your Android device: If you have a video about your shop on your Android device, you can use the latest version of the Sell on Etsy app for Android to upload your video to your shop home. At this time, the Sell on Etsy app for Android does not include video editing tools.
From your computer: If you already have a shop video, you upload it directly from your computer by going to Your shop > Shop settings > About your shop, and clicking on the “Story” tab.
