Android Pay Now Available Through Direct Checkout

Eligible buyers will now be able to use Android Pay to purchase from Direct Checkout-enabled shops in the Etsy app.

Starting today, sellers enrolled in Direct Checkout will be able to accept payments through Android Pay from shoppers in the United States and United Kingdom who purchase through the Etsy app. This payment option will be made available to all eligible Android Pay users over the coming weeks.

How it works

Buyers located in the US and UK who have installed the Android Pay app and have a supported credit or debit card added to their wallet can checkout in the Etsy app using Android Pay.

If you’re already accepting payments through Direct Checkout, you’ll automatically be able to accept payments through Android Pay from eligible buyers. To turn on Direct Checkout and accept payments through Android Pay, sign up here. Learn more about accepting payments through Direct Checkout.
