Want to open your own Etsy shop? Create your shop today!

Earlier this year, we introduced Shop Manager, which brings together all the tools you need to run your business. We’re adding a new tool to that toolbox: a redesigned Stats experience. Explore the new Stats in your shop.

The new Stats makes it easier to understand your buyers, optimize your marketing, and decide what new products to create. We’ve completely redesigned the Stats experience with new graphs and details that make it easier to understand what’s going on in your shop, so you can spend less time analyzing data and more time being creative.

What’s new

  • Stats for all the places you sell on Etsy: Get insights into your entire business with Stats for your Etsy shop, Etsy Wholesale listings, Etsy Studio, and Pattern site, all in one place.
  • Introducing visits: The new Stats highlights visits, an industry-standard metric that represents each customer who visits your shop—and each opportunity you have to make a sale. Because visits represent each shopper who “enters” your online shop and not each page they view, visits numbers will be lower than views. You can still look at your views on the Traffic tab of your Stats.
  • New ways to explore your data: More graphs and visualizations make it even easier to identify trends and understand your traffic. Get an overview of all your metrics on the Traffic tab and dig into data for your each product in your shop on the Listings tab.
  • Get to know your unique customers: On the Customers tab of your Stats, you’ll be able to see where your customers are located, what kinds of items they’re searching for on Etsy, and what devices they’re using when browsing your shop.
  • More accurate data: Etsy’s data engineers have worked to filter out bots and spam from the new Stats so that you have the most accurate data possible when making decisions about your business. In order to keep Stats as accurate as possible, numbers will refresh every three to five hours—less frequently than before.
  • Personalized tips based on your shop’s metrics: Tips and advice based on your shop data will help you determine what to do next to grow your business. Find even more tips in the help and education section at the bottom of your Stats.
