You know social media marketing can be a great way to promote your products. But posting regularly on multiple networks takes time. Now you can create the perfect posts (with suggestions tailored to your shop) for Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, and Pinterest right from the Sell on Etsy app.
No more writer’s block
Staring at your phone wondering what to post? Open up the social media tool and find your inspiration. We’ll offer suggestions on what to share based on your shop. Running a sale or recently listed a new item? We’ll help you create a promotional post. You can also highlight your successes by sharing recent 5-star reviews of your products or shop milestones with Etsy-designed graphics and suggested text.
Make your post shine
Connect with your community and expand your reach by sharing regularly to social media. We take the guesswork out of crafting the perfect post with tips and advice tailored to each social media channel. Suggested hashtags help you reach new audiences and bring new customers to your shop. Bonus: When you share links to your listing from the social media tool, the URL will automatically be personalized so shoppers won’t see recommended items from other shops.
Get started
Get in the holiday spirit and start sharing in the Sell on Etsy app today. You’ll find the new social media tool under the More menu (make sure your app is up to date). If you recently downloaded the Sell on Etsy app, you might need to restart your phone to see the tool. You can still create and share shop updates from the tool.
With the Sell on Etsy app, you can also respond to Convos and check your open orders while you’re standing in line at the grocery store. You can download the app on iPhones or iPads running iOS 9.3 or higher and Android devices running version 4.1 or higher.

Share from your desktop computer
When we introduced the social media tool for the Sell on Etsy app, we let you know that it’d be coming to your desktop computer soon. Now, you can create posts for Facebook, Pinterest, Twitter, and Instagram right from your Shop Manager.
Facebook ads
You can also turn your social posts into paid Facebook ads. By advertising on Facebook, you can reach new audiences, and even target shoppers based on demographics or interests. You can also create Facebook ads from the Marketing section of your Shop Manager.
