Editor's Note
Updated June 28, 2018
Earlier this year, we announced plans to make managing your shop’s finances easier by combining your payment account and bill, and changing how you’re billed on Etsy.
Since our announcement, a lot of you have shared your feedback and we’re listening. We’re hard at work making the redesigned payment account the best it can be for you and your shop, and to help make that happen, the new experience will now be released later this year.
We know how important managing your finances is and we appreciate your patience and your thoughtful feedback about this change. We’ll continue to update you as the new experience becomes available.
When you check out your June statement on July 1, 2018, you’ll see it’s got a totally new look—we’re combining your payment account and bill. Manage your shop’s finances and see exactly how much you’ve made, and what fees and taxes you were charged, in one place. We’ll also start automatically deducting your Etsy fees and any applicable taxes from the money you earn selling on Etsy.
We know that as a small business owner, you have a lot to keep track of. This update will make it easier for you to manage your shop’s finances—you’ll always know how much you’ve made, when your next deposit will happen, how much you owe, and when it’s due.
You’ll start to see these updates in your payment account in June, and by July 1, 2018 they’ll be available for everyone.

What’s changing
See what’s available for deposit and how much you paid in Etsy fees and taxes in a glance. In the redesigned payment account you’ll see all the recent activity for your shop.
Say bye-bye to bills
Starting in June, your Etsy fees and any applicable taxes will be automatically deducted from the money you’ve made from sales using Etsy Payments.
If you have an outstanding balance that’s not covered by your Etsy Payments sales, your outstanding balance will still be due on the 15th of the month as always, but any sales you make before then will count toward your balance. If you’ve set up AutoBilling, your payment will be processed on the 1st of the month.
Your money, in your currency
In June, you’ll start to see your fees in your local currency if you use Etsy Payments, so it’s easy to understand how much you’ve made and what you owe. Sellers in Bulgaria, Croatia, Czech Republic, Hungary, Romania, and Poland will see their fees in Euros.

See exactly how much you’re spending (and on what)
Fees and taxes will be automatically categorized so you can see how much you spent on listings, shipping labels, and marketing. Dig into the details by looking at your current statement, the past six months, or the entire year.
You’ll see the redesigned payment account and bill experience beginning in June. Understanding your shop’s finances is important, so we wanted to give you a heads up that this change is coming.
Sellers with standalone PayPal:
If you’re based in a country that’s not eligible for Etsy Payments, you’ll continue to see the taxes and fees you’ve been charged on your monthly statement and in your recent activity displayed in USD. You can continue to pay your outstanding balance via PayPal or with your credit card on file.
