This is a great example of this artist’s gift. It is a beautiful Whippet and is so lifelike. She has that sweet nature this breed is known and loved for and it translates beautifully in this lovely picture. D J Rogers is able to draw and paint beautiful dogs of every breed and more whimsical pieces too. I love and collect both. Whatever you choose, D J captures what is most wonderful about that breed while giving the dog or cat it’s own charm and personality. I don’t think there is a breed that isn’t represented and captures what is best in that breed while bringing a very endearing quality of the dog or cat in these wonderful works of art.
