A lovely vintage runner or dresser scarf, handmade of crocheted lace--an impressive amount of work went into this!

The runner is crocheted in off-white linen or cotton thread--it has a quite a sturdy feel to it, which belies the delicacy of the pattern. The pattern makes me think of stars. The runner measures about 50 inches by about 15.5 inches. On the back, there's a tag added by the maker--Dorothy Green. This could easily be removed but I love thinking of the woman who worked so hard on this!

In very good condition; one star has slight discoloration (see last photo). Clean item, from a non-smoking home. Not starched.

Please keep in mind that this item is vintage and we love it, in part, because of its age, history and patina. I feel that beauty is enhanced by the fact that they have been used and loved and they don't look brand new.
