Totally safe! The acrylic paint I used is low in toxicity level and it's also water-based. It will not harm your plant or soil. How can I reassure you? I also plant my house plants with these pots and they're doing quite well.

The pot itself is still porous but layered with paint and seal. When watering, the water will drain down the drainage hole. The seal serves as a protective layer between the terracotta pot and the paint. Overtime, frequent watering and use of the pot will cause deteriorated paint defects. With proper pot care, you can preserve the pot art much longer.

I recommend using my pots as a decorative pot. Keep your plant in their nursery pots so you can take them out to water and preserve the hand painted pot longer.

My processing time is 2 - 3 weeks NOT including weekends. The time it takes to prepare each pot, prime, paint, seal, package and finally sent to you is so important. The love and care I pour into painting each pot is as important as the process to make sure it's ready to be immediately pot in or used when you receive your pots. My steps are crucial to protect my artwork!
