1) portrait patterns from a photo which you provide,
2) requested patterns from image which you provide,
3) text patterns with various font options; you provide the text.

You can specify your own book size or order it in the regular book sizes (several sizes available - the same as for regular patterns in my shop).

Very often words: download, view and print out a document are mixed up by Etsy customers.

This makes it very hard or sometimes impossible to troubleshoot, therefore if you do not know the difference between meaning of these words please read the short explanations and then find the solution below specific to your case.

to DOWNLOAD - to obtain a electronic copy of a document from Etsy account to your device;
to VIEW - to open an electronic document on your device;
to PRINT OUT - to get a hard copy of an electronic document using a printer.

There can be only a few reasons why you may not be able to download a file:

- although very rarely, the server may be busy, in this case wait a few minutes and try again;

- you did download the file but your file has been saved in a location which you didn't check. In this case you can check your download history in your browser to see if the download was successful. If the message says that the download was not completed, repeat the download. Otherwise depending on your OS the message may also say where you file has been saved.
For most device the default location to save file is a Download folder or the folder you used last time to download a file.

Digital items CANNOT be downloaded from phone app.

If you still cannot see a document to download on your Etsy account (or if you do not have one and you have not received an e-mail with a link to the download), most likely you didn't finalize your purchase.

See your Etsy account, if the item is still in the basket it means you have not finalized your order.
But even if it is empty see your bank statement if the money has been withdrawn from your bank account for this item.

If you see the button but you have a problem with the download see the answer above.

The downloaded file is a PDF file. It means you need a program to view it. In all modern Operating Systems a PDF viewer is preinstalled. Most commonly used is Adobe Acrobat Reader. No matter which PDF viewer you have the file is displayed correctly if you open using it. If the file is unreadable it means you try to open it with a wrong application.

If you use a PDF viewer but nothing is displayed wait a bit. The document is quite big and if the device you use is slow it may take longer than for very small files.

All PDF files are printable. No matter how long they are and what they contain. If you can print one file there is no reason why you cannot print another.

If you have an issue with printing a file, most likely the problem is with your printer itself or its settings. In this case contact your printer service or troubleshoot it via internet.
(This is far beyond the scope of my offer).

That is not a problem. If you click on your print settings, a window with printing options will pop up and in an appropriate field (which is usually called "pages") type the page numbers (e.g. 8, 11, 22, 28) or page ranges (11-29, 34-66) which you want to print. If you need more help with that, there are a lot of videos and websites illustrating it on the internet.

The document must be long to contain all 28 pattern sizes (16 for other languages than English).

But long doesn't mean difficult to follow. On the second page there is a table of contents with clickable links. You do not have to scroll through the document to get to the middle of the file. Just look at the table of contents and see which pattern size you are interested in and click on the section name. The link will take you there.

You can also have an outline or thumbnail panel open to help you with navigating the document.

You, as a buyer of a digital file, should posses a basic knowledge of using PDF viewers. But if you don't, there are plenty of educational videos on the topic on the internet. (This is beyond the scope of my offer.)

Please, look at the preview of the pattern. You can see that a part of the pattern starts at the very top of the book. If there is point 0.0 it means that the pattern part starts immediately - the start point is the top of a sheet. No background part precedes it.

If it is still confusing to you, treat all the 0.0 as 0.1 or 0.2 and continue as always - first background part then pattern part. The effect will be a bit different, but it will still be OK.

Above every table, in the section title there is a pattern size given - the height is given together with unit. Additionally you can see it in the Table of Content and navigate form there (the references are clickable and link to the page they correspond to).
Moreover, the measurements in centimeters are given in decimal notation e.g. 10.5, whereas inches in fractional notation, e.g. 10 1/2.
