Leather is a living material that will patina over time to make your object even more unique!For this, it is enough to maintain it from time to time. I recommend pampering it at least once a year and not waiting for the leather to dry out before feeding it.You can find all the explanations and tips to maintain your leather object on my site with a short video: www.ladyharberton.fr/entretien-cuir/Note that to maintain the leathers I use for my creations you will need a cream wax. Do not use oil or grease at the risk of staining your leather and also forget about waxing.If you have any doubt, do not hesitate to contact me.

Le cuir est une matière vivante qui va se patiner avec le temps pour rendre votre objet encore plus unique !

Pour cela, il suffit de l'entretenir de temps en temps. Je préconise de le bichonner au moins une fois par an et de ne pas attendre que le cuir s'assèche avant de le nourrir.

Notez bien que pour entretenir les cuirs que j'utilise pour mes créations vous aurez besoin d'une cire en crème. N'utilisez ni d'huile, ni de graisse au risque de tacher votre cuir et oubliez aussi le cirage.

My creations are original designs that I draw in my workshop before making them to order in Lille.The name of my brand, Lady Harberton, is necessarily affixed to my creations because it is my signature as a designer-craftsman.It is also the guarantee that the creation is not a copy and that it is made in my workshop :)

Mes créations sont des designs originaux que je dessine dans mon atelier avant de les fabriquer sur commande à Lille.

Le nom de ma marque, Lady Harberton, est forcément apposé sur mes créations car c'est ma signature de designer-artisan.

C’est aussi la garantie que la création n'est pas une copie et que celle-ci est bien réalisée dans mon atelier :)

The name of the brand pays tribute to the story of Lady Harberton, who lived at the end of the 19th century, to her commitment to making the bicycle a means of freedom of movement for everyone, including women, and to her vision of creating an adequate wardrobe for getting around by bike.Without knowing it, she was one of the people who helped lay the foundations of a creative process that is now called "User-Centered Design".It's a name that tells a beautiful story of freedom and creation and it has inspired me every day since the beginning.Women wear brands with male names like Louis V. or Paul M. so it can work the other way around for men too, right? ;)

Le nom de la marque rend hommage à l’histoire de Lady Harberton, qui a vécu à la fin du XIXème siècle, à son engagement pour que le vélo soit un moyen de liberté de déplacement pour tous le monde y compris les femmes et à sa vision de créer une garde robe adéquate pour se déplacer à vélo.

Sans le savoir, elle fait partie des personnes qui ont contribué à poser les bases d’une démarche de création que l’on appelle aujourd’hui le « Design centré sur l’utilisateur ».

C’est un nom qui raconte une belle histoire de liberté et de création et celle-ci m'inspire au quotidien depuis le début.

Les femmes portent des marques au nom masculin comme Louis V. ou Paul M. donc ça peut marcher aussi dans l'autre sens pour les hommes, non ? ;)
