My very nice French press cosy was lost in the mail during a UK mail crisis. Leila canceled the order and refunded my money. Then later when things were resolved she contacted me and we tried again. I was so happy to receive it not long after that. She tries hard to keep customers happy.

I love to make things from vintage and recycled materials - mostly cotton, linen, wool and silk. I especially love the hand embroidered linens no-one seems to need any more but that have plenty of life in them yet.

I’ve got so much stuff at home that I’ve not got round to listing – if you’ve seen something of mine somewhere else that you like just ask and I’ll root it out!

If you have special fabric of your own - your family’s favourite clothes and linens - then I love making personal commissions – just get in touch to see what we can come up with!

Please contact the seller if you have any problems with your order.

Payment

I can reserve some items for later payment if you contact me to discuss this.

If no payment is made after three days, and I don't hear from you, I'll re-list the item.

Delivery

I usually ship items on the day after purchase. If this is not possible then I will contact you with a postage date.
I send by second class post with proof of purchase. If you would like tracking or insurance then please contact me and I can give you an amended price.

I use recycled and reclaimed materials for packaging.

International Buyers Please Note:
Import duties, taxes and charges are not included in the item price or shipping charges. These charges are the buyer's responsibility.

Please give plenty of time for the item to arrive - I cannot speed up the postal system. Mail to the USA generally takes up to a couple of weeks to arrive depending on the time of year and the vigilance of the customs service.

I am sorry to say that International postage prices have soared recently due in part to Covid-19 and the exit of Britain from Europe.
I am really disappointed to have to raise my postage and packing prices accordingly. There are now three different postage prices from the UK to Europe so you may find that I am able to partially refund some of the post and packing costs if you are from one of the less expensive countries.
