Crochet is so special to me! My Grandma taught me at the ripe age of 6 and I still cherish the first granny square she helped me create. I have crocheted off and on through my years and now as a homeschooling mother of two boys (and now, our future homeschooler, baby girl 🎀!)
I've found it a favorite pastime and very therapeutic. I understand with each passing year why my Grandma still spends a great deal of time working on new projects! To this day we text each other photos of our latest works and offer critiques and opinions. If it weren't for her, I don't know that I would have ever learned the craft! We are also both left handed, which was incredibly convenient. She has taught me how to overcome obstacles I have faced when interpreting patterns made for right handed crocheters. I know I wouldn't have pursued much without her as a mentor. She has inspired me to always want to learn more, regardless of what it is!
