My abstract art story
I am selda hülya my art story; I started painting at a young age. I couldn't pass the time without taking a pen and paper in my hand.I graduated from Mimar Sinan University Fine Arts Painting department.
I have been doing murals, installations and art work for 30 years. I have art works on the walls of hotels, offices, hospitals, schools and public institutions. The works I made appeared as minimalist works on light, color and motif. I have created a process of discovery by experiencing the passion of design in my soul with different materials.
My structured art background has led me to unexpected material use and large-scale works. Sometimes when I was working on a single canvas, sometimes I turned small voluminous paintings into large works with different materials. I like to work in organic ways based on conceptual ideas. As my art comes from within, I am inspired by the colors and shapes that touch my heart. With the art works I do, I use light, form and color together and create modern Decors.
Every piece I do, I want to give the audience a depth by pushing the boundaries of format. All my works are original and handmade products. About my art: I make bold, authentic colorful modern art works. While working on my structures on a large scale, I immerse myself in the harmony of music and leave myself to the flow of colors. I like to express it in 3D when creating my works.
