For a long time, I never really felt like I was especially good at anything.
People always say you should find the thing you would do for free, the thing that lights you up, but I didn’t feel like I had that. Not until I stumbled across quilted ornaments.

At first, it was just a personal challenge. I wanted to see if I could create something so intricate, so detailed, so beautiful. I wasn’t even sure I could do it. But somewhere along the way, it became more than a challenge. It became my escape. The careful folding. The precise pinning. The quiet focus. When I’m working on an ornament, everything else fades away. It’s my meditation, a place where my mind can rest and focus only on the task in front of me.

What started as curiosity turned into passion. Each ornament I made felt like a little piece of me, something created slowly, meticulously, with intention and care.

It honestly never crossed my mind to sell them. Each one felt like my baby. But one day, a friend asked me why I wasn’t sharing them. She believed they were beautiful enough that someone would cherish them.

So here I am.
Letting my “babies” go out into the world, not just as ornaments, but as little pieces of peace, beauty, and purpose for someone else’s home.

Pinned In Time isn’t just a shop.
