Mi chiamo Jamie Whelan e ho trascorso gli ultimi 12 anni prestando servizio come Tecnico dei Materiali nelle Forze Armate Canadesi. Questo significa che ho lavorato in condizioni estreme, riparando ciò che era rotto e fabbricando ciò che serviva, spesso con strumenti limitati, tempo limitato e zero margine di errore. Questa mentalità mi accompagna in tutto ciò che realizzo.

Dai robusti sacchi portaoggetti alle rose in rame forgiato, ogni oggetto è progettato per essere utile, duraturo e avere un significato. Lavoro con materiali veri, pelle, tela, rame, acciaio, e costruisco per la vita reale: attrezzi utili, regali che durano e creazioni che raccontano una storia.
Questa non è produzione di massa. Non è un processo esternalizzato o basato su modelli predefiniti. Sono io, nel mio laboratorio, a fare in modo che ogni pezzo si meriti il suo posto.

My name is Jamie Whelan, and I’ve spent the last 12 years serving as a Materials Technician in the Canadian Armed Forces. That means I’ve worked in extreme conditions, fixing what’s broken and fabricating what’s needed, often with limited tools, limited time, and zero margin for failure. That mindset comes with me into everything I make.
This shop is where military precision meets hands-on craftsmanship.
From rugged stuff sacks to forged copper roses, every item is designed to serve, endure, and mean something. I work with real materials, leather, canvas, copper, steel, and I build for real life: gear you can use, gifts that last, and craft that tells a story.
This isn’t mass production. It’s not outsourced or templated. It’s me, in my workshop, making sure every piece earns its place.
