This was our second purchase of earrings from this shop. My 13 year old daughter loved her first pair so much, she asked for a second. I especially love the colour of these. They are fun and quirky, while being simple and classic. They look great on. Perfect size, in my opinion. I would highly recommend.

I love my new earrings from Julija, they are exactly as pictured and the packaging is lovely. I wear them all the time and have had no problems with them. I already have a pair of white porcelain studs from Julija which are perfect as well.

Intricate and beautiful handmade goods inspired by nature and made with love by Julija - emporiumJULIUM

Julija Pustovrh is a Slovenian born artist now living and working in Edinburgh, UK.

Her background is in Landscape Architecture with emphasis on model-making and 3D presentations. Since her graduation in 2014 she has been working on various collaborations and individual projects spanning from urban design, woodwork, printmaking, stained glass art and more recently focusing on ceramics.

Julija has always drawn inspiration from nature. Her work explores the fine line between real and imaginary plant worlds, looking at forms, structures and patterns in micro and macro scales, transformations in time and space as well as giving her pieces some kind of function and use.

Currently Julija is working on an ongoing project exploring the connection between Scottish landscapes and coastal features. She has been collecting sand from remote coasts of Scotland and is incorporating the sands in her new body of work - SANDSCAPES.

Since September 2020 Julija has established her own ceramics studio where she makes all her work.
