Our story really starts five years ago when we welcomed our first child into our family. My husband soon realized that he had no desire to work a traditional 9-5 job for the eighteen years that we had with our boy. So, we began working for ourselves trying to make ends meet however we could. It's been tight a lot of times, but every day we get to eat three meals as a family. To me, that time is priceless.
Another reason I thought to start an Etsy shop is that I know several talented artist in my area, with no way (or know-how or desire) to market their goods online. So, I approached a few of them and pitched my idea. I would handle the marketing and shipping and all the logistics, and they could keep creating away. Hopefully, we will all benefit.
I don't claim to what I am doing, at all, but I think with time I will get the kinks ironed out (I hope). With such a great team behind me, I really don't think that failure is an option.
