The designer messaged me back and the issue is resolved. The mask turned out great and many people at the festival loved my son's mask.

Beautiful design - also very clear and well-designed instructions. The creator was kind enough to send me an image of the pattern in the photos, which I tried to replicate with tooling (though it was too fine to replicate exactly). Very happy with the result!
