4 out of 5 starsI want to first say that the late delivery was not the sellers fault, but it was never-the-less a late delivery. I didn’t realize that this item was homemade. The seller described it perfectly, but the photographs were not complete. The back was very dirty. The black corduroy was almost gray —because of the accumulation of dust and dirt. The mirror part had a dirty film, smudges, and quite a few scratches. The nails that kept this together, as mentioned in the description, needed to be hammered in. I cannot be sure if it was metal, but the “metal” was very thin —almost like tin. I chose it, and paid $166. If I had seen it in a vintage shop, I don’t think I would pay $50. Sincerely, I am not trying to be mean in my review. I have sanitized it and cleaned it. I will now put it in storage. I did not make a good choice.

Frequently asked questions
Tell me about shipping
Items are sent on Mondays and Thursdays unless otherwise stated in the store announcement. Please contact us if you are in rush to receive your item. We normally go in the (late) morning or early afternoon.
Shipping will be combined if possible and we use recycled packaging materials. Do be aware that your parcel may incur customs fees, which you will be responsible for.
What is my item is damaged or gets lost in the post?
Please contact me with a clear photo of the damaged item and packaging, or send me a message if the item fails to arrive within 25 working days (6 weeks if overseas). Please check with customs - and your room mates or neighbours - if they are holding your parcel!
Should an item return because it was unclaimed or refused at the post office / customs, the buyer will be responsible for postage fees to have the item re-sent. No refunds will be due.
Do bear in mind that all my items have a past and will normally show signs of wear. Take care in using them as they may not stand up to rough handling.
What if I change my mind?
To Cancel:
Simply contact me before the item ships to cancel your order. No charge and no questions asked!
To Return:
We do not take returns, but will always try to make things right if they were our mistake. Contact us if you have any issues with your order and if approved for the return, send the item back to us within 14 days.
Can I reserve an item, or pay in installments?
Yes, Items can be reserved for a maximum of 2 working days. Payments in instalments are possible and I can set this up for items over 100 CAD. Feel free to ask me how this works!
Can I come and visit your shop?
This store is online only.
Will I receive the item pictured?
Yes! I take photographs of all items individually, and will not re-use old photos.
My photographs are an important part of the item description so please have a good look at them to judge the items condition. Ask for additional images should you require them and I'll get them to you as soon as I can. Beware that colours may be seen differently depending on screen settings.
I always describe all items, including their flaws, to the best of my ability. However, I am only human and it is possible for me to miss something. Please ask questions before purchasing if you have any concerns!
Will my item come from a smoke-free and pet-free environment?
Neither of us smoke, but we have a dog; a 3 legged beagle called Titus.
He is not allowed in any of my storage areas but his hair travels on me just as much as on him and they may make their way into your parcel! Please be aware of this if you have (severe) allergies.
All of my items have had previous homes where there may have been smokers / cats / dogs / birds etc. If any of this is clearly noticeable on an item, it will be part of the item's condition description.
