About

A Thousand Words Greetings sells handmade greeting cards created with original photography and words.

A Thousand Words is a line of greeting cards that I’ve created combining my photography and my words. The cards are peppered with the details of day-to-day life. The images on my cards are things I've seen, and the words are things I've thought. And with your own words and greetings added inside, unique correspondence for all different occasions is created.

The images that I focus on in my photography tend to be very common, every-day scenes. I’ve always been enchanted by capturing moments. As an addition to a note card, I see my images as a little slice of life that can be sent from one person to another. And in marrying these pictures with words, I hope to create a relationship between the things we see and the things we feel or desire to express.

As greeting cards, as note cards, or as stationary, I hope the little bits of my world captured on my cards will evoke something in your day, and will later inspire something in the day of whomever you send them to.

Shipping
All cards are shipped within three business days.

USPS is used to ship all orders. Due to size regulations, it's not possible to include delivery confirmation on single cards without dramatically increasing shipping costs.

If you do need shipping confirmation or have a need to expedite your order, please send me a message to discuss alternative shipping costs and options.
Refunds and Exchanges
Due to the nature of the items sold at A Thousand Words Greetings, refunds are not available.
Additional policies and FAQs
I am happy to discuss custom orders – no idea is too big or small! Please contact me and we can figure out what you’re envisioning, how long it will take me to create and ship the items, and what the cost of your order will be. Additional charges do occasionally apply to custom orders depending on the scope of the project.

A note about my cards: all of the cards in my shop are square. Because square cards are so extra special, the post office requires a bit of extra postage to send them. Two stamps will do the trick (it's actually a little less than that if you want to take it to the post office window to send it)!
