few words about me...

..I was born in Ukraine, and grew up my first years in a village by my Grandparents. Later was a city, school, Greece, lot's of traveling and finally The Netherlands.
But those first years are the most precious and warm time of my life. Sun, raw nature, village, warm people, bare feet on the grass...My Grandmother was making clothing and had many Fashion magazines. Which I loved to look into:)

I guess, there was born my love for fashion.
From a very little I had a passion for drawing. I remember my Grandfather drawing on a newspaper a little rabbit.... This kind of small sweet episodes will stay for a life time. Many of us will recognize it.

Anyway... My twisted life finally brought me where I started: to Art. Which is not only drawing.
It includes a lot. Everywhere you see art and creation. I much appreciate work of great designers and artists, it has a huge influence on me and my work.
Love sport, reading, but lately have not enough time for it.
I love to learn, and will be that one Grandma who - again! - came to study:))

I started my first Etsy shop with a friend in 2010. We collected great examples of ceramic design from the 20th century, which is a wonderful inspiration to me. At the same time I started drawing again. Maybe it happened too, because my daughter was born with serious health problems, so I needed to have something to avoid depression, and find happiness.

1001vintage and studiodelafosse is a natural way of my development. And I am thrilled by finding amazing objects.
My own collection is rotating as a taste is changing. I am curious myself what collection will it be in few years from now:)

Until now my focus was mainly on 1001. To manage shop and family asks a lot of time. But my intention from now is to give my own art just as much of attention as it was given to 1001vintage.

My goal - besides to help my children in every way - is to realize my potential as an artist and person. I believe what is given to us we should return it to the world, but than with our signature on it. And inspire next generation, just as we were inspired by others.

Returns and exchanges
We send parcels by secured shipping.
In case of breakage or loss of item, please contact us within 5 days. The Dutch postal service does not refund any damages that were reported after 5 days. (please send a photo of the broken item as well as the box and packaging material)
When customer returning the item back for some reason, we have to wait first for it to arrive before refund to the customer.
We'll refund the amount of your item in case of damage or loss if it was reported within 5 days after delivery of the package. We'll always try to find a reasonable solution or give the opportunity for replacement in case of damage or loss.
Payment
We accept Paypal for payment, but if you live in the Netherlands or other European countries you can contact us if you want to pay with a bank transfer.
Shipping
If you are interested in more than one item, then please contact us before adding them straight to your cart. Combining a shipment can save you a lot of money!

International shipping can be pretty expensive, so we try to ship at the lowest rates.
In the Netherlands you don't pay per item but for the total weight of the parcel.
The extra fees for insurance and registered mail are on us.

Non-EU:
Up to 4.4 lbs/2kg $35
Up to 11 lbs/5kg $48

EU:
Up to 4.4 lbs/2kg $18
Up to 11 lbs/5kg $36

ETA for Europe: 4-9 days
ETA for USA: 4-6 weeks
ETA everywhere else: 2-4 weeks

Contact us if you need the item sooner than the aforementioned ETAs. A courier service like Fedex or UPS might be the solution (although this option is of course much more expensive than normal mail).
