1006 Osage was my grandmother's address...

My grandmother's house was my first exposure to collections. She loved to find treasures and display them in her home. Her eclectic collections included clocks of all shapes and sizes, colorful roosters, and Elvis memorabilia. Collecting became an important bond between the two of us and we frequently exchanged letters detailing new purchases or sharing our flea market experiences. It was following in her footsteps that finally led me to the creative outlet I had been seeking for years. Who would have guessed that my "creative" job would be selling vintage wares on Etsy?
Although most people think that creativity means making something from scratch, I find scouting flea markets, thrift stores and estate sales for the perfect merchandise an intensely creative process. Spotting that vintage treasure requires training your eye to look at the details, take in textures and colors, and envision the object in a different surrounding. The added joy of this shop is bringing that object to you.

I accept credit cards through Etsy checkout as well as PayPal. Money orders are also accepted. Please convo me first if you plan to send a money order.
I ship within 1-2 business days of receiving your order and will always send a message when your item has shipped. I want to provide you with the method of shipping, anticipated arrival time and tracking information. My preferred method of shipping is USPS Priority. Their service generally takes 2-3 business days, depending on destination. Occasionally there are unforeseen weather or disaster issues that can delay service (hurricanes, snow, ice, etc.) I like to use them because I can schedule a pick-up at my location and because your item will automatically be insured. Currently I only ship within the U.S.
I use calculated shipping, so the price that comes up is USPS Priority to your location. In the case I have overestimated the weight or size of a package, and shipping charges exceed $1.00 of the actual cost, I will refund you through Etsy checkout or Paypal depending on the original form of payment. Currently I do not pass on the cost of shipping materials to the customer.
Refunds and Exchanges
Items sold at 1006 Osage are vintage and generally used, meaning that there will most likely be some imperfections. I will try to note and describe any blemishes or problems in the description and also document the "less-than-perfect" in photographs. Please read descriptions carefully and look at all photos. If you would like to see more photos or have a question, I would encourage you to convo me before purchasing.

With that said, my goal is for you to be happy with your purchase. If there are any problems with your order, please contact me immediately (within 1-2 days) upon receiving and I will work with you to a satisfactory end. It has always been, and will be, my goal to provide excellent customer service.
