Everyone has a Lion Within
Austin Berryhill is a dedicated fitness professional and emerging artist from the south suburbs of Chicago, including Dolton, Calumet City, and Lansing, IL. He pursued higher education at the University of Illinois at Chicago (UIC), earning a bachelor's degree in Kinesiology. With a passion for health and fitness, Austin leads group exercise classes, including aqua aerobics, circuit training, and kickboxing.
In January 2023, seeking a deeper understanding of life, Austin began studying and practicing Nichiren Buddhism, which has since become a significant part of his personal journey. His creative side flourished in August 2024 when he completed an art project titled "100Lions," a collection of 100 unique designs with a lion as the central theme.
"As as Leo myself, I feel a strong connection to the lion. I wanted to create something to honor nature and the world we live in, and at the same time represent something that aligns with my personality and identity."
