5 out of 5 starsSuper fast shipping. Lovely packaging, clean ingredients and works well. Can add some to any facial soap for an extra exfoliation and I like to then leave it on for a few minutes as a mask.

Frequently asked questions
Will your bath bombs and Fiz-fetti stain my bathtub?
Nope! Once the water drains, simply rinse away whatever color is left in the bottom tub.
Are your products organic?
Currently, our products sit at about 98% organic materials, depending on the specific
item. All of the fruit and nut oils used in our soap formulas are organic. For your convenience, organic ingredients for each product are marked with an "*" beside them.
Do you use “microbeads”?
Oh, my. Microbeads are a terrible problem, aren’t they? Thanks so much asking. And no;
we only use natural exfoliants in our scrubby products. Some examples include pumice,
cranberry seeds, sea salt, brown rice, black rice and dry botanicals.
How do you make your soap?
1121 creates soap utilizing the “cold process” method for most varieties. In the simplest
terms, fats + lye solution = soap. The lye causes the fats to undergo a process called
“saponification”. This is accomplished without the use of any external heating, thus the
“cold” part of “cold process”. Our soaps sleep in insulated molds over night and then
after being cut into individual bars, are cured for 30 days. By the time the entire process
is complete, there is no actual lye left in the bar.
How long will my bar of soap last?
A long time! Depending on how big ‘a person you are and how well you care for your
bar, it can last a month or more!
Ok, then. How do I take proper care of my bar?
A few simple things can make a HUGE (so huge we needed caps!) difference in how
long it takes your bar to dwindle.
A) Keep ‘er out of direct streaming water. Your bar is made of soap, so it doesn’t need to
shower.
B) Don’t allow your bar to sit in a puddle. Enlist the help of a draining soap dish or store
it on your shower caddy, so long as it is out of the direct flow of water.
That’s it!
Why does my soap look different from the photo in your Etsy shop?
We’re a creative lot and while the ingredients of your bar will stay the same, we might
take some artistic liberties from batch to batch. We like to think of each bar as a unique
piece of art. No 2 are identical!
My bar of soap seems bigger/smaller than the last one I got. What gives?
Handmade soap will always have small variations in weight. At the extremes, we can
have bars that are 4-6 ounces. The smallest bars are always cut into samples. All of the
bars that get to you are as close to a 5 ounce minimum, as possible… and if you get one
of the bigg’uns, lucky you!
