Announcement   EVERYDAY + USEFUL + ORGANIC + ZERO WASTE + SLOW LIVING + TIMELESS + VINTAGE
112 James Street is a collection of organic linens and vintage home goods. All linens are slow made in small batches by me here in the Pacific Northwest. All the materials used to make the linens are sustainably sourced and eco-friendly. Lots of love, care, and research goes into hand selecting the textiles I use. The more you wash the linens, the softer and more absorbent they become. They are meant to be used daily. They age beautifully.

I also carry a lovely curated selection of vintage home goods. All are meant to be lived with and well loved. I hope each piece will inspire us to gather and connect with others. Whether that is around the table sipping coffee to tea, writing that overdue letter on a beautiful piece of vintage stationery, or picking that perfect piece to design your living space with intention and love.

I ship with recycled materials via USPS first class. Some items ship USPS Priority. Orders are made to order (unless vintage) and ship within 3-5 business days. If you need something in a rush, have a large quantity order, or have any questions, Convo me. I'd love to work with you. follow my slow made journey on instagram @112jamesstreet

The item was shipped and arrived quickly. The seller included a very nice note. The material is soft and very pretty. It seems very well made. I have not washed one yet. I love that I can feel good about the material and how the item was made. I am trying to transition my house to less paper products and less waste.

About

Full circle on 112 James Street

All the items in my shop are slow made, timeless, and most of all useful. I make cloth napkins, aprons, kitchen towels, and table runners in small batches in my home studio in Bellingham, Washington. All made from eco-friendly and sustainably sourced textiles that are good for us and the environment. In addition to our organic textiles, I occasionally carry wood wares that are handcrafted by my father in his "woodshop" in Summit, Mississippi.

I am a maker and a mother of four. I draw my inspiration at the table and in the kitchen...from table gatherings, motherhood, meals shared with family and friends, life's ordinary moments and good ole Southern hospitality. It is my hope to create beautiful, useful, and eco-friendly products that are made to last and be used everyday.

* my shop name came from my childhood home address. The first house my dad ever bought. As a child we often gathered around the table and shared these adventurous meals because my dad loved to cook. On Sundays we always gathered at my grandmother's tiny apartment and shared meals and life together. These meals really helped shape me and were part of my inspiration for starting 112 James Street. Later in life, I was able to purchase the little 1950s bungalow from the owners my father sold it to. The address, the home and memories had come full circle to me. No one in our family owns the house now, but it will always have a very special place in my heart. Hence the name, 112 (one one two) James Street.
