We design and make fashion accessories from leather and other natural materials. We keep our line green by using high end materials and techniques, and not following trends, thus avoiding fast fashion completely.
Our aesthetic is that of timelessness. We are influenced by the past, by nature, history and folklore. As a former costumer, I bring a sense of fantasy to the designs, with historical or whimsical elements. However, all pieces are well made and practical for use. Internal structure and supports are invisible to the naked eye but critical to longevity.
In addition, the embellishment we do on many of our items separates them from any pieces that are made from commercially available materials. All the art work on the designs and the patterns of the items are original to us.

I couldn't find exactly what I wanted, so Paddy made this beautiful backpack exactly to my specifications - giving a LOT of input, offering a LOT of options, and making creative suggestions along the way. I could not be more happy with how this backpack turned out - it's exactly what I wanted, and I look forward to using it for years! I've also bought four zippered pouches, and they are PERFECT!

About us:
We create handbags and home accessories from leather and other natural materials in our home studio in London, Ontario.
We offer some of the highest quality, and most delightfully charming merchandise on the market today.
All of our items are hand made by us using high quality materials such as Italian top grain leathers, handmade Harris Tweed and tartans.
Why leather:
After being disappointed in the longevity of fabric and cork purses, I turned to leather. I wanted something that would last longer and not end up in landfill or unused in the back of the closet.
Leather is a by-product of the meat industry, so turning animal hide into a usable product prevents waste.
Designer's Bio:
Patricia Richardson (Paddy) is a Canadian textile artist, born in the Niagara Peninsula. Interspersed between her studies in fashion design, fabric design, embroidery and arts education at various institutions such as The Academy, the Royal Conservatory of Music, Sheridan and Fanshawe Colleges, and Western University, she pursued a career as a costume designer and maker. In this field she practised and developed a wide variety of artistic textile techniques.
Patricia holds a BA, and is a Certified Artist/Educator as well as a Certified Milliner. She teaches and has published articles about embellishment and design.
