Announcement    I rescue old whiskey and bourbon barrels and bring their spirit back to life! I give them new life as furniture and housewares such as bar stools, coat racks, lamps and much more. These revived and handmade wares are each unique due to the nature of wood and the staining acquired in their life as a barrel.

Reviving reclaimed Whiskey Barrels by creating furniture and home goods that bring back the spirit of the barrel.

Based in St. Louis, artisan Kurt Moeller and wife, Lisa, run 1933. A small business which brings together Kurt's skills in building and creating to make these unique pieces from old whiskey barrels, and Lisa's skills in graphic design and marketing to help run the business behind the scenes. This has proven a great mix that helped start this homegrown venture. A family of artists and designers they see the artistic spark in their younger daughters and look forward to seeing what their future holds. This family can often be seen together working their booth at Art and Craft shows at home and around the country.
