Dreams do come true!
Welcome to my shop. I started doing hair bows in 2006. It all started when a co-worker was going to Disney and bought an amazing handmade outfit off of etsy. We then were looking for big bows to match. We couldn't find anything. I took it upon myself to grab a couple ribbons and see what I could do. I actually mastered it. My co-worker and a few dozen people said I should sell on etsy. I played for a few years and made them for a few local shows. I did amazing at them but was still working a full time job.
In 2010 I was bitten by a bad tick "Rocky Mountain Spotted Tick Fever". With that my health declined fast and in a hurry. I was terminated from my job because my doctor said it could be two or more years before I could return. As I started getting better I thought well now is the time to push craft shows. I did with the help of my family. The craft shows were amazing. I realized this was for me.
As I went through the next couple years doing craft shows I realized more and more that I loved my feedback. I started to get return customers! And those customers were saying "I bought bows from you last year and they are still looking great and holding their shape." Or I saw bows from a couple years ago bopping around our local town. I had been hearing a lot of my customers not wanting to wait a full year to get bows. I thought hard about etsy.
In 2013 I started my etsy shop. While I currently work 2 days a week. I still have lots of time to make bows.
My husband is my rock. He supports me 100% with my bows. We have been together for 27 years and have 4 kids together. We currently have two grandkids and one son-in-law. I just want to say grandkids are AMAZING!!! My family is growing and my heart is loving it. I personally would NOT trade one moment for anything.
