Dreams do come true!
Bienvenido a mi tienda. Empecé a hacer moños para el pelo en 2006. Todo comenzó cuando un compañero de trabajo iba a Disney y compró un increíble atuendo hecho a mano de etsy. Entonces estábamos buscando grandes arcos para que coincidieran. No pudimos encontrar nada. Me encargué de agarrar un par de cintas y ver qué podía hacer. De hecho, lo dominé. Mi compañero de trabajo y unas pocas docenas de personas dijeron que debería vender en etsy. Toqué durante unos años y los hice para algunos espectáculos locales. Lo hice increíble en ellos, pero todavía estaba trabajando a tiempo completo.
En 2010 me picó una mala garrapata "Rocky Mountain Spotted Tick Fever". Con eso mi salud declinó rápido y a toda prisa. Me despidieron de mi trabajo porque mi médico dijo que podrían pasar dos o más años antes de que pudiera regresar. A medida que comencé a mejorar, pensé que ahora es el momento de impulsar las exposiciones de artesanía. Lo hice con la ayuda de mi familia. Las exposiciones de artesanía fueron increíbles. Me di cuenta de que esto era para mí.
A medida que pasé los siguientes dos años haciendo exposiciones de artesanía, me di cuenta cada vez más de que me encantaban mis comentarios. ¡Empecé a conseguir clientes que me devolvían! Y esos clientes decían: "Te compré lazos el año pasado y todavía se ven muy bien y mantienen su forma". O vi arcos de hace un par de años rebotando por nuestra ciudad local. Había estado escuchando a muchos de mis clientes que no querían esperar un año completo para obtener arcos. Pensé mucho en etsy.
En 2013 comencé mi tienda de etsy. Mientras que actualmente trabajo 2 días a la semana. Todavía tengo mucho tiempo para hacer arcos.
Mi marido es mi roca. Me apoya al 100% con mis arcos. Hemos estado juntos durante 27 años y tenemos 4 hijos juntos. Actualmente tenemos dos nietos y un yerno. Solo quiero decir que los nietos son INCREÍBLES!!! Mi familia está creciendo y mi corazón la ama. Personalmente, NO cambiaría un momento por nada.
Welcome to my shop. I started doing hair bows in 2006. It all started when a co-worker was going to Disney and bought an amazing handmade outfit off of etsy. We then were looking for big bows to match. We couldn't find anything. I took it upon myself to grab a couple ribbons and see what I could do. I actually mastered it. My co-worker and a few dozen people said I should sell on etsy. I played for a few years and made them for a few local shows. I did amazing at them but was still working a full time job.
In 2010 I was bitten by a bad tick "Rocky Mountain Spotted Tick Fever". With that my health declined fast and in a hurry. I was terminated from my job because my doctor said it could be two or more years before I could return. As I started getting better I thought well now is the time to push craft shows. I did with the help of my family. The craft shows were amazing. I realized this was for me.
As I went through the next couple years doing craft shows I realized more and more that I loved my feedback. I started to get return customers! And those customers were saying "I bought bows from you last year and they are still looking great and holding their shape." Or I saw bows from a couple years ago bopping around our local town. I had been hearing a lot of my customers not wanting to wait a full year to get bows. I thought hard about etsy.
In 2013 I started my etsy shop. While I currently work 2 days a week. I still have lots of time to make bows.
My husband is my rock. He supports me 100% with my bows. We have been together for 27 years and have 4 kids together. We currently have two grandkids and one son-in-law. I just want to say grandkids are AMAZING!!! My family is growing and my heart is loving it. I personally would NOT trade one moment for anything.
