Welcome to 222 Handspun - Your source for art yarn and hand dyed, hand carded fiber for knitting, crochet, spinning, weaving, felting, and crafting. If you love color you've come to the right place!

Featuring locally sourced, breed-specific wool. I source a lot of the fiber I use from local farms and festivals where I meet the growers that I buy from. This close relationship with the farmers and other fiber artists allows me to bring the wool from the farm directly to you.

CUSTOM ORDERS - UPDATE: I currently have a waitlist for custom orders and will not be accepting new orders for the foreseeable future. Thanks for your understanding.

I dye many of the fiber colors myself in custom mixed, unique small batches. Please purchase more than you need, since I generally don't reproduce them.

I do ship internationally with insurance and tracking only. It is more expensive but insurance is necessary due to the frequency of lost mail. Please contact me for an international rate quote.

In stock items usually ship within 3-4 business days via USPS first class mail.

In accordance with protection policies, items ship to the payment address. Please make sure your address on file is accurate before ordering. Customers are responsible for shipping charges for returned items and re-shipments.

    I discovered spinning when I realized that commercial yarn just didn’t provide the range of colors and textures that I craved. I took a spinning class and went out and bought a wheel straight away. I’ve been totally hooked ever since.
